With a static image you might not notice it too much, but with a flat profile the noise is much finer and tweaking color will not end up with macro bloking hell. Good luck tomorrow, I wouldnt rely on the d600 too much, get the thing done with the gx7.

It means that Normal Quality (NQ) setting (10mbit???) will turn into the Old High Quality (HQ) settings, so you can still use the 24mbit/s setting by choosing Normal quality. Comes in very handy for long takes or for footage that doesn't need high bitrate.

Dog Schidt Optiks Flare Factory 58 (PL Mount) Review
Nikkor replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
This one is pretty awesome, the sharpness is perfect. -
And the lochness wants 10.000$ (I don't know the actual figure) to get rid of it's fan and some other things that you don't know until they get announced and then it will be more expensive to update.

That last poll is not a poll, it just reflects which cameras had the most access on the site for the last week or so. The first post is abou a real poll, and most of the products there are already "old". There is an obvious difference.
-
Every new camera has a few weeks on the top. The cameras I remember staying there on top for a few years were the d90, probably nikons best selling digital camera, and after that the 5d mkii but to a lesser degree because it was an expensive camera. Back in the day there was not much choice and the first camera in that list was always 50% or so with the next being 20% and then 5%,etc... most being canikons. N Canon is living off inertia, but this stops eventually.

Shure man, I mean, monopod seriously? I love u too. btw, you can upload the raw files if you want (not jpgs), that would rule out fakes.
-
Just cross your eyes as JCS said. Try to do the same at home, matching two different cameras with two different lenses, lol even with the same sensor size and focal length, you wont be able to pull it off.
-
Come on man the last two shots dont even have the slightest change in perspective, and for the other two are perfect color and character match. You are the perfect camera operator who can put cameras one a tripod without moving it at all and who can match two different cameras with different lenses to have exact the same color. Seriously you should go to hollywood they will pay you bigtime.
-
If you ask me those 4 shots were done with the same camera. Nice try on bulshitting me, but after seeing the photos I remember who you are and Im going to play nice.

Ok: larger formats render better defined and at the same time smooth images compared to smaller formats, given the same equivalent lens set up. Thats the bottom line. Or just: larger format, better image.
-
How could you possibly know how long it takes to come up and write down the actual proof.
-
I have pointed it out over different threads. But hey, you just made the differences between formats dissapear, congratulations you saved a lot of people a lot of money, please have your cookie.
-
Because its not what I am saying. You can have a 25 f1 lens on m43 and on your classic dof calculations it will have the same dof and field of view as a 50 f2 on FF. Yes, nobody denies that. Now I would have to repeat again where thedifference lies but its getting boring. I mean, why do you even care if you cant see the difference.
-
I think its called sarcasm.

Haha ,dont put words into my mouth. [removed by moderator] And remember, if you are so blind that you cant notice the benefits of larger formats, it's no shame, focus on story telling, etc and leave the image department to someone else as if you would do if you were colorblind.

Oh come on, the problem is that you are still believing that your primary school math works out in real optics.
-
Your math is wrong and only is semi accurate, the variances in this matter are not lineal.
-
There is no debate, the format differences are a fact. I brought up your ego because you seem to have a personal need to believe that format size doesnt matter.
-
Jcs the math used in vray, and also in common used dof formulas is a simplification. Format size does change the way dof works. I know this for a fact, you can read it in wikipedia (good luck with the messy article),I will not give any prove myself. You can write all kind of stuff, the day you find the answer it will be funny overcoming your ego. Just do your self a favour and stop calling it a myth cause it makes you look kind of ...
-
Oh lol, seriously. I will quote from this topic in the near future.
-
Post sample photos with exif data so I can tell you what you are doing wrong.
-
From what I can tell on my Ipad, shots 2 and 3 should be FF, the lens is changing magnification/breathing btw.But the real deal is with focal length below 80mm. Do the same test with the 24-105 comparing 24 and 48mm, or even better with some matching primes (you just crop to something near s35 to match it)the differences should be much more noticable.
-
Rich dont tell them, once you had a black theres no way back. I need a digital 6x7 camera, FF is not fun anymore.
-
Bigger formtas are totally useless, specially medium format. Don't buy any lenses for it, its totally crap, expensive and complicated. Largeformat cameras are only sold to rich people and fashion photographers who need to appear professional with big cameras. The obvious differences you can see in comparisons between different formats are only in our minds.
