Hi guys before i click buy i have Yashica Ml lenses CY mount will this Contax Yashica Lens to Micro Four Thirds Speed Booster ULTRA x0.71 work on my yahsica 2.8 Ml lenses I used older model of CY to MFT Speed Booster worked fine lenses are full frame some people report vignetting with this ultra. Much Appreciated guys

I think camera is really nice not perfect no such camera exist. But again its just a tool but camera is capable of beautiful images its not run and gun needs light cinematography ect. What Bm did with this camera is just amazing when it comes to color science dynamic range range. I remember beige in film school and thinking one day i will buy DVX100A and now 2017 cameras that we have my god. But yeah i love my BMCC my comp can handle 2.5k raw just fine. I was thinking URSA you know leates and greatest but then i would have to change my entire workflow new pc new io card, storage ect ect. And who watches in 4k and who own a 4k monitor? not many people. To me Dynamic range color reproduction is more important then 4k or what ever k. Just my 2 cents

i man you can get a nice camera for 3000 does not have to be 4k. You can get full BMCC for under 3k. craft is much more important than the specs, the way you light your scene, frame it, grade it. That's what people really see. A well graded HD footage is really enough for most of big screens. Unless you want to be seen on Imax, but I'm not even sure our work will ever be shown on theater. If you ask me, I prefer to put as less money as possible on the camera, you can find today some HD raw capable cameras with good dynamic range for less than 3000$, that's all you need, and keep your money for good glass lights, that's what matters most in my opinion byTom Chabbat

I have bmcc is ir filter required on this cam and is is only used in day light and certain lights I already have tiffen nd filter do they help with ir pollution thanks

yes it was there at beginning and they fix it to a point its like .05 sec delay i really don't mind it i go ti for fals colors and other options but they say that lag will complitaly be fixed in another update when they enable 4k monitoring. for the price its awesome just the features you get no sure but for me price was selling point i did not want to spend over 1000 but wanted to get all the top functions like fals colors waveform vector scope sdo hdmi ect for 600

Instead of spending money on new booster what do you think about Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 18mm F4. Looking for a wide angle lens or Tokina 17mm F/3.5 Lens For Contax C/Y i have about 600 dollars to spend
