Which settings are you using? Which lenses? Is this a new camera? It only occurs during camera movement?
-
From the transcript, it's apparent that this was primarily a cost-saving measure.
-
But he still seems to be unaware of the benefits of PDAF, talking nonsense about how it doesn't work as well at apertures smaller than f/8. Who's shooting video at f/11 on a micro four thirds camera? That's the equivalent of f/22 on full frame.

Because Vietnam customs is the mafia - they can charge me any duties they like. Last year, I ordered an iFootage carbon fiber tripod for $575.00, customs wanted me to pay almost $4,000.00 in fees!

@mercer @Kisaha I envy both of you for having been able to shoot with the Samsungs! Samsung owners seem to be about the most diehard loyal fans of any brand from what I've seen around the forums here. Seb's tests made me want to sell all my Fuji gear last night, so I was understandably upset. ? As was reported in the news a few months back, "Samsung's billionaire chief is now in a jail cell with a mattress on the floor and no shower", and he deserves to be, for getting out of the prosumer mirrorless market! Samsung led the way with a great sensor and h265, and I'm sure many were hoping the GH5 would have h265 as well. The 16-50mm looks like a brilliant lens, too. I still can't get that Nepal video out of my head. Still, cameras don't exist in a vacuum, neither does image quality, and it's nice to know your camera will continue to get firmware updates and that an already great lens lineup is constantly getting even better. @Inazuma So, will you be keeping the Fuji?

I tried to find a way to save Custom settings in video when I first got the X-T2, but couldn't figure it out.
-
You can save custom video settings on the X-T2?
-
I guess the idea of selling off all my lenses and camera body is too dreadful to even accept that the NX1 might be that much better.
-
I'm not seeing the Samsung battering the X-T2 at all. At 2:26 and a couple of other spots, the NX-1 outshines the X-T2 in detail and DR, but even though they were both shot simultaneously, the X-T2 appears to be out of focus for one thing. I don't own the 18-55, but it can't be that blurry, no way. I say this because although i don't own the 18-55, I do own at least a half dozen other Fuji lenses, and they are all tack sharp. I've also seen footage shot with the 18-55, and nothing I've seen looks that soft. Edit: I will say however, that if I could buy the Samsung and 16-50 in Vietnam today, I'd do so in a heartbeat. The footage of Nepal shared by another forum member the other day blew my mind. Maybe I'm mistaken, it's happened more than once! Is the DR of the NX1 really that much more than the X-T2? I won't be able to sleep tonite.

Have you shot with Cinelike D?
-
But Vlog should give at least a couple stops more DR than the regular picture profiles of the GX85. I would consider that pretty big, though it's not immediately apparent from most of the videos I've seen online. I even consider Cinelike D to be much better than the other photo styles of the G85.

I would choose the iMac for sure. 8GB is barely adequate for video editing, the i7 processor will be better, you can always add faster storage. Also, I really consider 27" to be the minimum for serious editing.

I'm working on yet another lens video, this time where I discuss the high cost of m43 lenses. ? Shot with the Leica 12mm f/1.4, Nocticron 42.5mm f/1.2 and Olympus 75mm f/1.8. Should be done sometime next week.

The woman with the black hair on the top is the correct one.
-
Beautiful work, shot with the 16-50 f/2-2.8 kit lens (24-75mm full frame equivalent).
-
Nobody's going to ask you anything about your gimbal. Don't check in any camera gear, bring it with you on the plane. Airport staff will destroy or lose your check in stuff.
-
The peaking is great, it's always been reliable.
-
It would have been entirely possible for Zak to have forgone the model completely, to have stepped into the frame and have the camera track him at a fairly wide aperture, which I think is amazing.
-
Without knowing what the OP usually shoots... if it's street photography, generally anything from 35-50mm full frame equivalent is considered the most practical. Anything wider, and you've got to get up in people's faces, any longer and you've got to step back too far to avoid filling the frame with people's heads. As the OP already owns the Panasonic 14-140mm and Leica 25mm, and plans on purchasing the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8, rather than overlapping much of the range of these lenses, I might even go so far as to recommend the Panasonic 7-14mm f/4, which can produce some striking cityscapes, but which is neither weather sealed, nor does it have a filter thread. Another possibility is to wait for the Leica 8-18mm, which Fritz is considering, and which has both weather sealing and a filter thread.
-
I'd say go with the fastest of the three: the Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8.

But ... why should it be assignable to a Fn button? -

I just shoot video, so I set the front dial to shutter speed, because I was always changing it accidentally.
