Long before the release of the GH5, I remarked how adjusting even relatively straightforward settings like white balance, curves and contrast on cameras like the G80/85 was confusing for some people (myself included), and that it would result in yet more perplexity for photographers not accustomed to setting things like knee, gamma, hue, etc. on the GH5. But never could I have imagined that custom AF settings would create such a stir. We've already seen this video, several times in different threads, OK? Hanriverprod is entitled to his opinion.

You see one comparison over at imaging resource, an unreliable site to begin with, they only publish sugar-coated reviews, then you condemn the camera without even holding one in your hands. You began a new thread saying the NR sucks, but many other reviews have found otherwise. Sounds a bit, well...

The problems I ran into were (1) I began shooting at a lower ISO, and I realized that since I was getting up close to my subjects, there wasn't enough depth of field, (2) I'd been overexposing my shots, and (3) I shake a lot, and even the gimbal couldn't help me. So I raised the ISO to 800, shot at between f/4-5.6, I learned to be sneakier so I didn't shake as much when the subjects would look directly into the lens, and I trusted the LCD.
