  1. @IronFilm when you have time, maybe you can find it and bookmark it since you are making such a big deal about nothing.
  2. Hopefully, @John Brawley will share some good news with us soon.
  3. I love the microphone levels display. That’s what I’m talking about! I wonder what happens when rain enters the cooling vents on top of the camera...
  4. @IronFilm That may have been what he meant, but he did not add the words ‘by us’. He also said it was a completely new sensor. Excuse me for taking him literally.
  5. Not sure because afaik, the Inferno does not yet record HLG.
  6. 8.42 doesn’t support HLG. But support for it is coming. v.8.42 includes the following bug fixes: HDR HLG and PQ Loop out over value gain issue fixed. Fixed an issue where the HDR slider value was not saved when using Auto HDR mode. 20% improvement to system start up time. SUBSEQUENT OS UPDATES EVERY 4-5 WEEKS WITH THE FOLLOWING FEATURE PRIORITY: Raw Recording (Sony FS, Canon, Arri, Panasonic) HLG In/Out QuadLink Scheduled Playlist
  7. @anonim Right- they don’t want to confuse the consumer with something like NOISE REDUCTION - OFF. ?
  8. They all look like silicon to me! ?
  9. The V looks awesome. Almost regret having got the Shogun Inferno just a little while back. I really believe we have to mention it on every forum, get people talking about it. And in every online review comments section as well.
  10. During an interview, Blackmagic said it’s a new sensor that hasn’t previously been used in any other camera.
  11. None at the moment. Perhaps at launch or in a firmware update?
  12. @eggry You really need an HDR monitor to grade with, no two ways about it. I’ve been having trouble with YT not recognizing my 4K videos lately as well. Not sure what’s going on with them.
  13. Like @Don Kotlos says, it's Prores RAW ready, meaning Atomos is counting on at least one DSLR manufacturer to hop on board. I urge everyone to mention Prores RAW each and every time you click on a camera review.
  14. I'm not gonna lie, the X-T2 update to enable enlarging and customizing information in the viewfinder/LCD is huge!
  15. You might want to ask @John Brawley .
  16. ??? Just another bored, drug-using retiree furtively shooting Vietnamese women in grocery stores with clickless aperture and posting clickbait.
  17. @anonim Words of wisdom! But I'm in a rush to capture the true essence of what it means to live in Vietnam in unvarnished RAW.
  18. Thing is, I'm not seeing any visible damage to the quality of my clips, and nobody's ever said, 'Jon, why don't you bake in the LUT? It looks terrible!'
  19. @Damphousse If I were a wedding photographer, I might choose the a7 III. If I were a vlogger, maybe the a6500 or any one of the Panasonics. If I were a tourist, maybe the Sony RX100 or whatever. If I were wealthy, maybe a Kinefinity. A sports photographer, maybe Nikon. Or maybe I prefer the full frame look of ML RAW. Why do people have to defend their choices? To say this camera is the be-all and do-all is silly. It only turns the forums into an echo chamber.
  20. If Veydras drop to $500 and the GH5 to $1,000, I'm all in. But I resent people calling me a troll when I have practically nothing but good things to say about the Pocket, and only get edgy when people feel it necessary to trash my own camera, many of whom have never even shot with it. Is it sacrilege to suggest that if someone needs autofocus, they should look elsewhere? Or if they want to vlog? Or shoot underwater without a special housing? Of course not! And why pick on Panasonic? Why not look at how the Pocket will affect Sony, Canon and Fuji instead? Where does this hostility come from? It's completely unnecessary to trash one company to boost another. We get it already.
  21. #1. Resolve LIte is free and is plenty for me. #2. I'm not seeing any trolls here. Care to name them?
  22. I'm not sure why you posted those links. One seller has only 21 reviews, I'd never buy from them. But if the price of the GH5 and GH5s drop, that's cool by me. I realize the focus is on Panasonic, but theoretically, this should also affect Sony, Canon, Olympus, Fuji and the rest. All this speculation about the demise of Panasonic is hurting my poor brain.
  23. The price of a new GH5 remains a firm $2,000 over at BH, one of the largest, if not the largest retailer in North America.
