No. That is just not true. (Only true to an extremely limited sense, but you need a certain reasonable threshold of acceptable material to work with first. And saying "clean recording" is kinda redundant, when referring then to cleaning it) Would you say it doesn't matter what lens is used or where the camera is pointed?! As you can always "fix it in post". Or would you call a person out for saying that? As it is unacceptable misinformation to be spreading (not without some serious level qualifiers attached to it).

The 7D was Canon's take on the D300, or in other words an APS-C DSLR aimed at the upper semi pro / pro photographers with a high frame rate.

TC in/out?? HELL YEAH!!! This is big BIG NEWS!! Hasn't been a feature for Panasonic MFT stills cameras ever before, with the one exception of the GH4 YAGH.

If the GH7 comes out next year with the features and specs of an EVA1 but with a MFT mount then that would be a steal at that price!!!

Better preamps alone won't solve audio. You still need more than 2 tracks, quick access manual controls, and... a dedicated sound operator with his full focus on getting the best possible sound.

Yeah is doing pretty ok for its price. And the headphone jack is nice, if you're not going to have a return feed for your boom op.

So when visiting a rental house today (as was looking at lighting gear for tomorrow's shoot), I asked them about their Alexa. They don't have an Arri Alexa Classic, but have an Arri Alexa XT (uses SxS too). He wasn't however keen to let me try out my SxS cards/adapters from my F3 :-(

Dunno. I have never used it. But I'll say personally I always use a wired boom myself. Although on very rare occasions when I've had a boom op under me then I've handed them a RodeLink Newshooter Kit to use with their boom.

I look forward to a $1300 GH5! :-D (also look forward to a GH5 for a tenth of that! :-o Which will happen one day..... after all the GH1 is now that price) Could just be a MFT/4K crop of the EVA1 5.7K sensor. That is what I'm betting/hoping on. So nothing revolutionary. Yet.... They did it because: a) internal turf war between the consumer and the pro divisions, so the pro division didn't want to do anything which makes sense for their competitors in the consumer division b) they did a survey of buggy riders and found out they wanted better buggies! (not cars.... because who could possibly dream of something as crazy as that?!?!) Did this happen online? If so I'd love if you could look it up to link to it!
