Yes, you have to set it on the Canon, but in reality most of my shooting will be at 1.8f whenever I can, unless I need a establishing shot with this Lens for some reason? But I have a Panasonic 12mm for that anyway.

Oh yes, I have no nikon lenses and lots of Canon and Vintage Lenses adapted to Canon EF. I didn't want to buy a Metabones and Nikon 18 -35mm because it would mean nothing for my Canon gear, plus I get to use the 18 -35 on both my 600D and BMPCC.

Got my RJ Turbo EF- M43 today and tried it on my Sigma 18 -35mm and Pancolar 50mm on my BMPCC and WOW, works great, can't fault it really sharp!! So glad I didn't go down the Nikon mount Sigma 18 -35mm and Nikon Metabones route!!

Can anyone recommend a good cheap light meter? I've seen digital chinese ones on Ebay for $60 is that all I need or are they a waste of money? I haven't got a clue about this stuff? thx!

Yes. I think the GH4 trounced the C100 in my humble opinion. Canon can look a bit smudgy, Gh4 looked sharp and vibrant, bit like an Alexa maybe, kinda more natural or realistic colours?

Yes I have the 35mm 2.4 and I agree, it's probably the best Lens I have. I'm now looking for an 85mm, maybe a Biometar 80mm? Can't decide whether to get a Samyang/Rokinon CINE 85/1.4 or get the Biometar, I think the newer 85's are much better but cost alot more. I got a Yashica ML 35 -70mm 3.5f, paid $80 with a 35mm Yashica Film Camera, but the Lens is all Plastic!! I was ripped off I think! It works ok, seems to be very sharp but the focus throw is coarse compared to metal lens. Here's a 35mm 2.4f Flektagon photo I took. '>

I just got a Carl Zeiss Pancolar 50/1.8 for $100 and it's just freakin awesome, sharp throughout all stops, loads of contrast, Zeiss bokeh!! My Canon FD 50/1.8 is pretty good too, very sharp, best skin tone too for video/film.

Will it work ok if I use my vintage Lenses adapted to EF then on the Ef - M43 Reducer? You know 2 adapters? Should be fine shouldn't it? Save me buying an m42 reducer when all my older lenses have been adapted to EF anyway.

I was thinking a sub category for Highly Regarded Vintage Lenses. Some lenses are just shit but some are incredible. It would have been nice to know which lenses are worth time and which are time and money wasters? I've spent so much time searching for info, would be nice to open a page and find nothing but the low down on the gems?

Oh yes, it's 2.88, I just rounded it up to do basic calculations in my head and then forgot that I rounded it up!! lol. So a 50mm would be 50mm by 2,88 by .71 = 102mm approx or 2.04 by 50mm = 102mm.

Just got a new 7' Liliput Monitor and I can't get a screen when I plug in my BMPCC? It works fine on my canon 600D with the other HDMI Adapter. All I get is a blue screen, no picture and when I remove the cable from the BMPCC it says 'no input signal' so it is reading that there is a signal? I have a standard hdmi lead with an mini hdmi adapter that fits perfectly but could it be the adapter or am I doing something wrong?

Got my RJ FD - M43 Reducer today and got to say, was pretty surprised at how sharp it is! To my eyes, there's no loss of sharpness and the IQ is increased in my opinion. And the stop of light is great, esp on my Kiron 70 - 200m F4 zoom. So is the focal formula for BMPCC 3 by lens by 0.71?

Ok, bought a Pancolar 50/1.8 and Yashica ML 35- 70mm and waiting now for the friggin adapters to come from timbuktoo in a couple of weeks. Better be good Andy or I'll come looking for ya!! :angry:
