Can someone confirm if 10 bit is only available in HQ crop mode or not ?!? Cant believe after a week we still cant find a clear answer. Returned mine today. Also for people speaking about sharpness forget that. First of all turning +1 sharpness makes it sharp enough, secondly people did not understand how to focus the mavic 2 properly like it was the case on the 1st one. On the 1st one you had to autofocus far away then switch to MF, in this one switch to MF, do not go to infinity but touch the infinity symbol instead, it will put the drone in hyperfocal. Once people understand this and turn sharpness to +1 we sont hear anymore the Mavic 2 is not sharp. Now I would like to find answer to my question, also have a better view of the quality difference between HQ and FOV... For info the return process with DJI was a nightmare (box unopened) i will never order with them again. I ordered an other one from Adorama because I have a crash insurance with them. Adorama is backordered from day one though that sucks when you know I had the drone in hand.... But insurance is worth it (and I have it free.)

In this case they will call it A9S. Either it is an A7S III and they have to be in the ballpark, or they change the name. If it is 4500$ like the A9 screw it. No way I pay this to have the A7SIII 6 months later with all same features for 3000 (just like the A7III vs A9).... But I think the A9 was a complete disaster for Sony in sales, so hopefully they do not repeat. 3000$, like the A7SII sounds fair. 1000$ more than A7III, yet good enough features to justify. 4500 is not reasonable

Come on Sony do not disappoint.

BS. Nothing to do with Canon dominating mirrorless. They will probably have a new mount like Nikon and start from 0. Sony lenses are great. Canon dominates DSLR world because of the EF lineup and because of their name. Japanese people like the name. They are far behind Sony in the US for mirrorless. I got the 28-75mm on the A7III. Just returned both but tried extensively. This lens is the best lens I have ever used: Amazing sharpness and a 28-75 range with 2.8 for this weight at this price is unheard of in the photo world. It's absolutely amazing to have a standard zoom this light yet with amazing corner to corner sharpness. I can't wait for them to release the matching UWA like a 15-28mm 2.8. This would be the best combo ever in term of weight / IQ / 2.8 aperture. Returned the A7III because I wait for the A7SIII. I am convinced by the changes made the the A7III, worked really well. Returned the lens because no point keeping it while waiting A7S. Also wanted to see Nikon/Canon option as I am really happy to buy those if they are better but so far it seems nothing will even touch the A7SIII. Assuming it will have 4K60P of course cause if it does not then that's just an A7III with less mpx...

Also much faster than resolve, that was the entire point of the video I posted But anyway use the program you want no pbm. Personally I have used Premiere, Resolve and FCPX I am not closed to one program and stay open of new things and am ready to change if something is considerably better.

10 bit grading possibilities seem great. Also in the menu he checks 10 bit and I do not see why you would need to be in cropped mode for that. - It is official that the HQ mode is cropped - Not processing power, just DJI crippling the Mavic 2 to give a reason to P4 Pro to exists.

The A7S3 is nowhere you are right. Sonyrumors said this week that 90% sure its here in 1-2 months and at max Photo plus. Now this site says bullshit often. But it totally makes sense because all the line has been updated and Sony Europe director confirmed its coming soon. The reason it has been delayed is probably because of a7iii success. Oh but wait, where is the Z6?? Isn’t it coming in November? Isn’t Photo plus in October ....? Allright... It’s not about defending anything or anyone. You don’t need a big brain to think and make assumptions. And thinking about what the A7S could be is not that hard when you see the gap between A7II and III. You know it’s coming. You know it will be way better for video .. that’s common sense. Now if you never think about unannounced cameras you must loose a lot of money. Sure. With pro lens pricing. And maybe pro battery life, pro 1 card slot For stills if I did not mind of the above I would buy a Z instead of Alpha because Nikon sensor tweak is always a tad better and for ergonomics. But for video, let’s be honest guys, the A7S III will be miles ahead of both the A7III and those Nikon. And because the A7S line is more niche, Nikon won’t bother compete here.

Very good video. Cannot believe the difference between FCPX and the competition. Wether it is exporting or stabilizing etc it is just so much faster. Also I was personally very happy to make the switch from Premiere. FCPX make editing much more pleasant to me in general on top of the speed advantage.

DJI is impressing me a lot with cutting edge features and true innovation continuously. Sony and canikon don’t impress me. Especially Canikon who serves you the same conservative specs and features years after years. Let’s be honest, those « reinvented mirrorless » have nothing reinvented. I wished so much à Chinese and or US company would make consumer FF cameras, everything would be far different. When DJI releases an APSC cam it comes with RAW and Prores Raw. Not Sony 8bit XAVC or bullshit canon 800mbps aging codecs... well there is an American company called black magic and guess what? They give us 4K60p raw for less money. They are just too video Focused. I wished they made mirorless FF hybrids.

Great drone. I think DJI did a wonderful work. Really innovative company. Some camera manufacturers from Japan should take note... And DJI should release a FF mirrorless. Ordered one.
