Too expensive for me. The GX85 image you put is amazing. Way better than the Sony. Good enough color wise. So the GH5 would do it for me if only it had DPAF like the canon....... it would be a way better tool than the canon actually. 3 times cheaper, articulated screen, 3 times smaller, better spec and 10bit with better codec. Just that AF which is crucial and which is going to be DPAF decent at best, and not DPAF at worst

What I need is a Mavic design, even if it is bigger no pbm, with the camera of P3P. 0 advantage of keeping the horrible P4 design. So inconvenient to carry around. i need portability since i travel all the time and hike and do all kind of extreme sports. But at the same time I do commercial shots. Having best IQ at smallest package is key.

Too bad mavic does not have phantom video now. 4K 100mbps h265 with one inch sensor would have cut it for me.

Yes there is light indeed. I meant there is poor light (high iso). Honestly even at ISO100 this result was not as good with the mark IV. This Mark V is a real beast for slowmo.

The GoPro 5 is way ahead of mavic in term of IQ. You have full manual control, great Protune, the new Linear mode that looks great and so on. Better wider angle of view for landscape, etc. Mavic is great cause very small and good specs. Karma is great because of the detachable camera and gimbal. 2 good drones, depend on your use.

BREAKING NEWS: the 1000fps mode is now in FULL HD. Of course 500 fps and lower too. Exemple with amazing quality (CAREFUL THIS IS 3200 ISO done inside so dont judge the noise). Compared to the old 1000fps of rx100 iv thats awesome

Without a doubt the RX100 V. Best 120fps on the market with good usable AF for gimbal use for exemple. If big sensor is needed then NX1 or A7SII. If time is not a concern, GH5 will probably be an option with the best 60fps on the market (4k) and probably a very good 120fps.

Brace yourself. A9 is coming and any Sony camera you have ever get will make you feel you lost money in it. At the same time thanks to this we get the best new specs. Unlike Canon for who we have to wait 2020 to get A7RII specs. And at least it has the merit to boost competition. Sony not existing, GH5 would have not been what it will be, most probably.

Can you show me your 6th video you made as an amateur with no rig or budget so I can see your talent? Sorry if mine does not please you, I am constantly evolving (compared to my previous video, and the previous one) and that's what counts for me. I know small sensor limitations. I constantly defend larger sensors on this forum. GoPro footage is better than the Mavic is what I am saying here. Take a look at the video above as well as the thailand one by bloom. You can produce good stuff with small sensors, amateur or not, but small sensors are not equals. Neither are lenses and codecs.
