You take your photos in live view with a 1dx2 using DPAF instead of the normal AF of the camera?
-
Motion cadence here we have our new bulshit to compare a canon and Sony. Lol seriously guys...
-
Yes he is blind. Best m43 is far from best apsc which is far from best FF in term of high Iso performance and dynamic range
-
If it looks worst than 5d3 then it is shit. Eos M5 is coming... Let's see. And still waiting for the FF canon Mirorless
-
Good News. Also the double lens on the Plus with 2 different focal. The photo part will be greatly improved by this and we should get good video for a phone.
-
Sony a6300 AF is almost as good as dpaf no ? it will get even better in the next a9/7r camera so that's cool. They will also improve finally ergonomics and so on ..

1.74x - A Crop Odyssey - Canon 5D Mark IV officially announced

Would be good if ergonomics was better. They have the specs but the bodies and overall menus and so on are bad imo. Maybe the future A9... -
When I personally need high DR is for landscape. And my landscapes are still
-
thats the comment I added to his post. Unfortunately I fear the worst. see comment above about heating.... I need IBIS and proper video AF though. The AF wont happen, IBIS not sure.
-
We do not push 6EV. But we do sometimes push to the limit of the sensor in landscape photo. So the higher the limit the better room for creativity. 5DIV failed, even in DR. Can't wait to see how the next D750/D810 puts even more the 5D in the shadow Impressed with the pentax K1, never heard it was that good in DR. This is absolutely mind blowing. Look at this https://***URL removed***/news/2055527036/pentax-k-1-s-pixel-shift-challenges-medium-format-dynamic-range And select in the DR tool replace std shutter with pixel shift. You get a DR that completely explodes the D810 and gives you totally usable 5/6EV push. Insane. Why do we dont hear more about this camera??? I want that in a camera with proper lens system. Wow....

You don't know the Nikon V1 do you? http://petapixel.com/2013/03/17/the-nikon-v1-can-shoot-one-second-snippets-of-4k-video-at-30fps/ The nikon V1 does exactly that. 4K30p burst for one second, which is photo. So not only it makes sense, but it already exists, and this is what will happen.
-
Too bad @Andrew Reid but 43rumors already updated the spec (silently FTM) and it is 6K 30fps PHOTO, not video. Too bad for us indeed. Same for 60fps 4k photo. The camera cant do video at 60fps but can for a small burst. The GH5 will be a 4K30p camera, improvement over GH4 being 10b422. FAILED.
-
Funny you but not gonna happen, the GH5 will be priced either like the GH4, either 1999$ (likely).
-
That looks amazing, but now we are dreaming at a 1500$ cameras having better spec than their cinema line.
-
Amazing but my fears are: Forget the 4K60p, it will be 30p. Forget the good video AF, it will have GX80 AF. 2 major shit for me. Even if 10 bits 422 and no crop and IBIS are enough selling points VS the GH4 for most...
-
Sorry I meant to say 4k30P, no 60p actually !!! Source is Photorumors you can go look at it, they pointed out the the leaked GoPro5 manual which I read entirely before it disappears. I can confirm you, manual video, RAW audio, stabilisation, Linear mode for aerial video, nice touchscreen. No 4k60p, and stabilisation only works in 2,7k

The new DJI osmo + same but with optical zoom. Not so interesting http://link.dji.com/u/nrd.php?p=lNm7yl3iur_224950_837418_1_79&d=OGEyNDY5MmNjODZjMzFhNTE%3D%7CMTk5OTE5NjQ%3D%7CbE5tN3lsM2l1cg%3D%3D%7C

All info leaked for the GoPro 5 too. mainly a stabilized mode and touchscreen. Still 4K60p and a linear mode that removes fisheye

1.74x - A Crop Odyssey - Canon 5D Mark IV officially announced
wolf33d replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
Nope they won't put a 12mpx sensor that would be a marketing mess. No 20mpx sensor like the EM1 II because less good for video. This is why they will use the gx80 which is good. GH5 will be a GX80 in term of pure image quality, just with better spec (slow motion..) and with the same stab. my fear is that it keeps the AF from it, which it will probably since I think it is sensor dependent -

To be honest I dont like the SB. One of the feature I wait the most on the GH5 is the video AF like on the A6300. I do a lot of gimbal use and need a proper video AF. SB AF is not usable..... That is why for me it is a problem -
1.74x - A Crop Odyssey - Canon 5D Mark IV officially announced
wolf33d replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
Andrew, this was highly anticipated because it is a Sony sensor and due to the major earthquake they got multiple months of delays. It has been said a couple of times and now the delay is confirmed which is why it is a wired timing as you say. -

Oh fuck... it's confirmed, no GH5 before 2017 http://www.43rumors.com/ft5-no-full-gh5-announcement-photokina/ -

Thanks for the article that I shared. Agree on every point. Agree too with your comment: I want both in one camera. The GH5 will take more than decent stills, but it absolutely wont make the job for me. I need D810 level still quality. So I might grab a D810 + GH5, but then 2 cameras with 2 systems of lens.... And my main use is travel (think 5-10 days trek in Rockies, Patagonia, Iceland, ...) so I am quite pissed. I tought the A7RII was the one. Bought it, traveled 2 weeks in Cuba and it appeared it was not enjoyable to use (such a pain to switch from stills setup to video setup, poor ergonomics, etc). But here we are the GH5 might be the best camera on the market for its size for video, and the D810 is the best world landscape camera under 20k$ (phase one anyone..?) So for the moment I don't see a better option. Even if Nikon releases a good 4k option in the next DSLR, it wont have some of the amazing GH5 features like IBIS, good slowmo (hopefully),... I just wish we get a 4k60p and minimum 120fps Full HD as clean as in an RX100, as well as A PROPER AUTOFOCUS IN VIDEO like the A6300, PLEASE PANA! Then I am sold. Oh and BTW imagine if the GH5 has a good video AF: that would be the BEST gimbal camera ever. Light, slowmo, good AF for tracking on the gimbal, and the power of its 5 axis IBIS + gimbal... wow that will look smooth as hell -
What a joke! Here it is anounced: http://www.canonrumors.com/canon-announces-the-eos-5d-mark-iv-dslr/ This is extraordinary, their press release is completely video oriented. They say that they listen to the video customer and brought the best video specs. how funny that is... Yet no C-LOG, nor word on crop, prehistoric codec while they put a real one in the XC10. They take us for pigeons so pigeons can go and get it but I will pass! Very sad to see those confirmed specs.
