Andy (Lee) if one had a choice between the Tokina 28-70 2.6-2.8 and the Nikkor 28-70 which one would you choose? Keeping in mind the Nikkor is thrice the price. Is the Nikkor worth the premium over the Tokina?

Various posts on the interwebz indicate to it occurring due to over-exposure, so even if you increase your aperture and reduce ISO to get the same exposure it might clip. Try the white balance work around for now.

How safe is it to give a potential distributor a copy of your film?

Watermark. Watermark Watermark. Occasionally have a watermark run across the screen in an establishing shot or something that doesn't have actors. See at the end of the day, if someone want to leak it there is nothing you can do. So the watermark at least helps you identify who did it. On a film I worked, we would invite all these guys to our office and show them a copy. Sadly, the film was so bad no one bought it. So as a filmmaker it's also a catch 22 situation. -

It's possible that you can have a few blocking artefacts depending on the complexity/details of the scene. Did you encode using CBR or VBR?

Ho w about extending some of the existing pieces? As far as genres are concerned, personally I would love some in the horror/surreal and Fantasy music!
