Special features of the FUJIFILM X-H1: Integrated Image Stabilization (IBIS) The internal image stabilization system (IBIS), which is being used in an X Series camera for the first time, features three axial acceleration sensors, three axial gyro sensors and a very powerful dual processor, which performs around 10,000 calculations per second based on the measured data. In combination with the effective compensation mechanism, a particularly precise image stabilization and thus an uncompromising image quality is achieved. 5-axis image stabilization is possible with all XF and XC lenses. It is also possible with lenses without their own optical image stabilization stabilization of up to 5.5 EV levels * 1 possible. With the XF lenses already available, stabilization of more than 5 EV levels is achieved with a few exceptions * 2. This performance is made possible by the use of state-of-the-art production technologies. Thus, the individual components of the image stabilization unit are positioned using a laser measurement, which achieves twice as high precision as with conventional production processes. The inspection and adjustment of each individual camera ensures that the sensor is aligned absolutely parallel to the image plane, as in the case of XSeries models without integrated image stabilization. For 4K film recordings with a battery grip, the maximum recording time is extended to around 30 minutes.- recording time without battery grip ???

Canon to make major mirrorless presentation in Feb
Aussie Ash replied to Aussie Ash's topic in Cameras
Since releasing their first Mirrorless camera in June 2012 Canon have produced two primes EF-M 22mm f/2 STM. ... EF-M 28mm f/3.5 Macro IS STM. and five zooms for mirrorless.EOS lenses can be used with an adaptor as well but this is not making advantage of size and weight advantage of aps-c mirrorless . -
Canon to make major mirrorless presentation in Feb
Aussie Ash replied to Aussie Ash's topic in Cameras
Does that explain why the sales people are not invited ! -
according to "canon rumors" Canon is sending out “very elaborate” invites to select dealers and VIPs for a mirrorless camera announcement next month. The invitation was described as being very high end, printed on heavy glossy paper and showing a silhouette of a camera shaped like the EOS M6 with a hole cut out (similar diameter to a dildo)

Blackmagic forums should be able to help you here also re "4.6k image looking more digital ? than other BMs"

So far the reviews on Amazon for the new Canon VIXIA G10 look rather dissappointing "Image quality is just not there. As another reviewer pointed out, it is very soft and lacks the sharpness of other 4K cameras. Compared footage from my Sony AX100 which I owned for 3 years, the difference is night and day. Sony is sharp as a tack. The low light performance is terrible. Image is fuzzy and grainy."

The D500 has been out two years so could be a D500S coming with better video features also the D750 replacement is already overdue. Perhaps a couple of proper Nikon cine lenses ! and a coffee cup with "Nikon Filmmaker" on it.

Are established wedding photographers clamoring for full frame mirrorless ????

Thom Hogan did some interesting analysis of Nikon body sales 2012-15 with his finding that DX was 84% of their worldwide sales ! Concluding with DX is the market they should be aiming at with mirrorless. http://www.dslrbodies.com/newsviews/how-do-fx-and-dx-sales.html

I find the A6500 grip revolting and would be happier if Sony made the body larger with less overheating problems-which seems the route Fujifilm are going with X-H1. Canon and Nikon have DSLRs that are lighter than the X-T2 Canon SL2 453gms with battery Sony A6500 453gms with battery Nikon D5600 470gms with battery Fijifilm X-T2 507 gms with battery

"I am not too sure anyone can make a FF mirrorless as small as Sony can. It is on the verge of overheating almost all the time. I doubt Nikon has the engineering knowledge to overcome what Sony in reality can't, and Physics to boot." Sony are obsessed with keeping their mirrorless bodies small -part of their marketing . The engineering knowledge to reduce heat is quite straight forward and if a small company like Blackmagic can I'm sure Nikon have the R&D to do it lackmagic can do Nikon can as well
