I did double check on the G6, it turned out that "iResolution" was on, without it, the moire is much less a problem...

The G6 is not free of moire, but the 70D is much worse and fail on major things, just look at the buildings brick wall (on the left). The Canon is also a lot softer.

Hello, You can set ISO increments so you will have more ISO choices. Page 202 in G6 manual.
