Who will buy this camera? I do not see any Canon / Nikon / Sony sports photographer switch to it. And most of Olympus users do not want such a huge body.

Even the E-M1 II produces 80MP Hi Res RAW files (and 50MP JPEG). And its got a 20MP sensor. Not hand held.

40MP on a micro 4/3 sensor?

They did not put HLG in the flagship E M1 II so do not expect it on this camera...

In video mode, the Z6 has less focus points than 273: "231 on-sensor PDAF points used for video In FX-based movie format".

Olympus could have made the E M1 II a video beast. But, they did not care to fix even the most basic bugs, like WB not stable in video and no auto iso in M mode.

For Color and dynamic range, you need a calibrated screen, and the Z6 looks nice indeed (most phone screens are far from calibrated). For Noise and details, you have to watch it on original resolution. Its not peeping, as noise get masked when you downscale to 1080p.

This is a 4K camera so you have to judge it through a 4K screen. Any other way is a joke.

BS to your eyes. All new TV screens that are sold today in my country (above size 37") are 4K. For me aiming at 1080p is not relevant at all.

It was shot in ISO 8000 and thats what we judge. And the remarks about "most whatching is done on 1080p" is not relevanat because in the very near future, it will change.

When you watch it on a 4K screen, you see a lot of noise in night shots. Watching on a 1080p screen looks much smoother. So, you have to judge through 4K screen.

Also the Olympus E M1 II has a full articulated screen.

Its works on playback mode when viewing pictures.

You have Highlight Alert in almost all stills cameras for years. It is not video Zebras.
