I petition free cameras! I think that's got about the same chances.

Stabilization looks good! Mine's charging away (yeah I'm one of those; first charge, then play (on initial run)). -- Gotta say, it's a pretty little thing and actually rather comparable to the LX100; hardly any bigger. It has the tilty screen the LX100 should've had in the first place and then of course the interchangeable lens mount (the 12-32mm is a little smaller than the integral unit of the LX100). Dual dial action opposed to the top dedicated top dials on the LX100. For a moment I forgot the ring on the kitlens was for the zoom and doesn't do much focussing on rotation, lol xD. I've been using too many primes lately, so focus solely relies on the AF with it, which actually does a fair job. And even using the EVF you can touch to focus on the screen which works quite nice. On this rather gloomy rainy day, at this time of day, weather and light doesn't really lend to go out. Fingers crossed tomorrow is a little better. Some messing around already showed decent stabilization; looks a tad bit nervous, might be partially the autofocus, the fact electronic stabilization is off or just my excitement having a new camera that it's hard to control physical exertion. Just one clip though. Image and noise profile looks a lot like the G7 with in the darkest areas hardly any noise, just to come in with some organic grains in the somewhat darker mids. So far, so good.

It's pick-up only there. Another Viennese: Sobotka might ship though, but they only show stock for body, which is just as expensive in Germany. See Geizhals.eu-link earlier for availability. I'd suggest to keep an eye on https://www.foto-mundus.de/shopware.php?sViewport=detail&sArticle=20144 tomorrow. -- got it!

Sounds good! Ooh, well, the kit just got In Stock for 699 now here. I guess I'm heading out facing the rain!
-
Nice! Saw one store just reporting stock on the body only here as well now. Waiting for the kit though, as it's only 100 EUR more than just the body around here. For that I'm eager to see what that usually GM-paired lens is about. The small form factor is cool, probably will lack a bit performance/character, but you know, an effectively 100 EUR lens, what's there to complain? Might even put those 14mm and 20mm pancakes to good use again. That's just one side of it: having a microsized option to shoot with. Doesn't attract much attention either I'd say; nice and low profile. Although the real cool thing of course is pairing the BIS with cinema primes and boosted adapted glass. It's no GH5, but I gotta assume it's fun. If you're looking for EU availlability, I usually just check http://geizhals.eu/?fs=gx80&in= .

Is it... Litepanels, Aputure, Yongnuo?

More UK stock, kit this time: http://www.wexphotographic.com/buy-panasonic-lumix-dmc-gx80-digtal-camera-with-12-32mm-lens/p1595527 (*out!) Germany: http://www.mediamarkt.de/de/product/_panasonic-dmc-gx80k-2124390.html (2 units / body only ltd qty) | http://www.saturn.de/de/product/_panasonic-dmc-gx80k-2124390.html (ltd qty) | https://www.fotokoch.de/64086.html (*out!) Interesting, I thought the X-Pro2 was supposed to be a 'surprisingly capable Super 35mm cinema machine'... it be interesting to learn if you really do like the GX85 more!

And an EU warehouse while you're at it, although, don't open shop in Austria, everything's closed on sunday, even in the capitol and they must have the most national holidays ever over here. That's annoying. When you go out and buy groceries and you're like 'what the hell, everything's shut, what occassion this time?!'. Another flippin' excuse of a holiday that didn't mean much where I'm originally from.

Even Albert Fast is back to show off more G7 goodness!

EOSHD advises Leica on LOG as SL system gets new firmware update

Dang. Dees guy. -
Was there any previous case where they actually added something after they had finalized and presented the camera? I can see In Stock here as well: http://www.ukdigital.co.uk/panasonic-lumix-gx80-body-black.html . According local Cyberport they are expected here on the mainland for tomorrow. Another CEU store claims delivery in 1-2 days, meaning it's probably In Stock with the distributor. Seems Austrian prices for the kit undercut some of the German market ones (like Amazon and Saturn) by 100 EUR. Same happened with the LX100 during the launch period and then rose back up again, might want to be in for one after all. I'm so weak, lol, it's just that I have so many non-IS lenses you know, that it's kinda tempty to already jump on it and not wait out for the GH5, which perhaps will be shipping around Christmas or something (seems so lightyears away right now). I'd kinda rather be outside shooting away with that little thing in summer.

I've said this before, DSTE batteries are Chinese import batteries that almost fried my GH2 to bits (of course there's people to be found where it hasn't gone wrong (yet)). I have a serious concern for quality and safety of these. There's a reason they're about the cheapest on the market (I've been to Shenzhen, there's very few good, but a lot of bad and ugly). These days I'm exclusively going with Patona, which has European roots and actually feels like something I can trust (even laptop batteries!) or at least have someone to hold accountable. https://www.pts-trading.de

Upcoming remote for timelapse controle for example... Apparently holds a flippin FS5 too!

My list would be shorter. I'd be like... try: 1. selling your A6300 There's just no way I'm going to put up with a camera that gives me such hassle, even if it shits rainbows. I'd rather use a G7 and just deal with it. Respect if you go above and beyond to make it work for you with fans 'n schtuff though.

Sure, when good is good enough for your own personal projects and travels... but on actual collaborative and paid projects it's more like... And of course you want consistency, apply good practice and get the best motion picture quality...
-
Infinite of both! Nah, I wish. Though, I don't care too much, I just like it to make sense, I'm generally not the 'let me get a camera for a few months'-kinda guy. I get something because I'm pretty passionate about it. Can't say that I'm that passionate about the GX80. The BIS is amazeballs, the size, look and feel is almost LX100, which I kinda dig, but it lacks a lot of good stuff as well. But who knows, maybe I get tempted anyways when it's out, I believe it should get stocked in a week or two?
-
Bit of a dilemma. Do I really want it now... or do I just wait for the GH5 and have it all?
-
lol, you've got it pretty bad, don't ya? Love it.

Canon has a f/1.8... it probably will match the other Canon glass the most and provide fair AF capability. Price is nice. Sigma has one too btw (pre-Art)... but at roughly the same cost I would probably go for the Tamron with IS. Of course the Zhongyi/ZY Optics Mitakon might be the most fun... but flawed/with character. Definitely something else... and f/1.2. Look it up. Might be cool for some dreamy and playful shots.

Just buy 'n try. It's not like it's going to lose its value should you decide it's not your thing and put it up for sale again. Two fun 35-70mm I always keep an eye out for are from Angenieux and Leica. But you might need to wait a century for a real bargain to cross paths... I think the Nikon will do fine though, it's good value. The 24-105mm is a practical lens, mostly for stills, but I understand you'd want to spice it up a bit, so really go and explore your options... you might even want to think about replacing the Canon with the same range Sigma... that might change things up enough for you as well.

Pretty sure you could make a purchase at a http://www.geekbuying.com/category/RC-Quadcopters-1569/DJI-c-1266-v-3289.html for example... I think the cheapest (yet decent and DJI-like) way to start out though might be by going over at HobbyKing and getting yourself a Quanum Nova (PRO) (Cheerson CX-20) found here: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__2010__2009__Multi_Rotors_Drones_Parts-RTF_ARF_PNF.html . They have the Inspire 1 and Phantom 3's as well, btw. There's a huge resource over at http://www.rcgroups.com/multirotor-talk-659/ .

Was a lovely combo for shooting monochrome on the GH2. I like the way you've 'developed' your footage as well. Has a very earthy/organic film vibe. I like.

One of my first vintage lenses. First was the Minolta 50mm f/1.7 (with Minolta XG-1), then the Pentax (Asahi Optical Co.) 50mm f/1.4. The Pentax really blew me away!
-
I would perhaps even cut it by 30 secs or a minute and leave some of the shots that are more of the same or not as powerful as some as the others out. There's some really cool stuff in there.

Alan did a video on that the other day...
