EF70-300L for sure, the king of the 70-300 lenses, no other competitor. You can find comparison on http://www.dxomark.com/ , much shorter size than 70-200L.
For less vignette, here is the comparison, wider is better. IMO, 16H/8Z > Schneider ES ≈ ISCO integrated > others, 16F, 16D.... Actually, large rear glasses benefit a little bit.
Looks like there is difference between kowa 16d and sankor/singer 16d. But they are not wide ana lens anyway. Only 16h is the widest 2x ana lens. Look the shape can tell, its diameter>length, none else has.
They have same diameter basically. I don't own 16d, but from the info online, for FF camera, it can use 135mm. But 16h can go to below 85mm for sure without vignetting.
That looks like huge difference compare to the one (DS-1609-37) I had before, its sample as following. Taking lens is Nikon E 50mm 1.8 on Canon 6D. Only centre part is sharp, so it is focused.
Don't understand Why using 4:3 on BMPCC to get 2:1 with 1.5x anamorphic lens? Did you see the forum said "Only people who think in wider than 2.35:1 allowed! "?
I am using a +0.5 vivita, it is ok enough. I don't think it makes difference between 0.4 or 0.5 on Century anamorphic lens. I think most blare will contribute by Century.
Omg, that might be over 1kg, no comparison. If you don't mind the bulky lens, ISCO HD attachment would be better. The Schneider lens is only good for FM module I think.
As I know, they have the same optic structure (4 glasses 2 group?), assumed you said Sscheider ES and ISCO integrated lens. ISCO's lens is smaller, and more easy to focus. ISCO was merged not long ago, around 200? year?
