I did not see any difference. I still need to pay $186.12 extra
-
IMO, if you want to easily sell it, don't use ebay shipping. To me, I will ignore it, because that extra charge hurts me too much. Import charges: $186.12 (amount confirmed at checkout) help icon for Shipping - opens a layer No additional import charges on delivery

Imo, vigenette less: 1, less diameter of the taking lens 2, less deepness of the front glass on taking lens 3, pancake lens

how to using 5D mk I for video? Even without live view.

IMO, anamorphic alignment and level are different things. Alignment is must. Using flare to set it with grid on LCD is the best way to do when mounting anamorphic lens. If alignment is correct, no other distortion issue.

Found IE8 on XP did not work too, unable to reply. displays are also not correct.

The FM lounge (Discussion of anything not related to FM price and discount)
ken replied to Cosimo murgolo's topic in Cameras
For anamorphic lens part, they are all the same. But blue star and blank star lenses have different coatings, and mc lenses is different too. So flares are all different. Blue star lens has no flare basically. -
This topic, page 14 always caused ipad to logout. Shown "It has error on web page".

I think except flare... -
I think you have to mount on the clamp, measure it's size.

Even though I am not interested in both products as an amateur, from what I saw here, Cosimo is a good guy. John is also focus on his business too, no need blame.

IMO, all because of the shooting distance. Too close (between anamorphic front and rear glasses too) will reduce the ratio, so that is why we need +0.5 diopter for close shooting. Here is the 3:1 sample took with ISCO integrated lens, which many people call it as 1.7x, 1.9x. But actually, really is 2x, IMO.

At least 3-4 times when clicked the last page of the post in Safari, caused iPad air to logout with somewhat of reboot status, shown the apple then ask login again. iPad is running up-to-date system. But never happened in any other web page.

Yes. 16H's neck is very short. For mounting it to a modified 70mm macro lens, the mountable space is very short. Only accepts one ring's thickness, so this is the only way to mount. BTW, the screws are 4-40.

Trouble getting sharp images with SLR Magic anamorphot
ken replied to William Reynish's topic in Cameras
Imo, macro lens is not suitable as taking lens(it has deep front glasses), unless you mods it as I did. Because it is difficult to mount the anamorphic lens close to taking lens front glasses. As I know, SLR is the sharpest 1.33x lens. But all 1.33x lenses are not sharp as 2x dual focus lenes for sure. -
tokina / tamron 17mm f3.5. Tokina has better center sharpness, with filter thread, but more edge CA, good for non FF use, and cheaper.
