I've tried this setup, it will vignette. If you use a 16H,8z,elmoII,B&H it will not (I have tried it also).

Surely they are thinking about these things, BMPCC would be one of their best sellers I imagine, thus makes sense to corner that market once more (still there's no direct competition for BMPCC really).

You mean a "Portfolio"? I live in Poland a bit of the time so I'm trying hard to decipher what you mean . Or maybe I miss understood and you just mean a "video invitation". If it's an invitation for a party and it's a video that is what I would call it. Or as you said "personal video invitation" is also correct. It just depends what you want to use.

^same thing with Isco S8 which I have also used in similar situations. If you can mod to infinity and get a Rectilux you have a pretty nice scope though.

From what I can read you partly instigated it. You're both as silly as each other. Move on. His advice that the lens is not worth that much is 100% sound advice, as it's not worth that. Does it mean that we can find them easily for under that price? Probably not, but that's also not what he said. There aren't many 1.5x anamorphics, not just for that price, but in general. Does that make them better than other anamorphics? No. Does that mean you should pay silly inflated prices for them? Let your intelligence and wallet be the judge.

Maybe some truth to it. I've had some people send me abusive/threatening emails after posting reccomendations for alternative products to theirs... so wouldn't be at all surprised.

I like and use MLRawViewer, I wish they kept updating it. Newer programs are good but not the same thing.

Reslove does everything I need, others may need something else. Reslove has a lot of functions most people don't know of or understand properly, you need to watch tutorials to work them out, it's not always easy to work out on your own.

Because I don't want to carry a gimbal and G85 isn't Raw... But I get your point, I guess not may people are really asking for this, but it would be a nice feature to have, especially for BMPCC with adapted vintage glass. Not keen on any of the DJI things. Highly doubt GH5 will do RAW.

How long until we see a camera like the BMPCC with IBIS? Or does it exist already?

You can shoot nFD 24mm in 4:3 with 16H/GH4 with no vignette. That calculator isn't always right .

It's only the best "available" option if it turns up . Happy shooting.
