Yeah I shoot MLV Raw. I use MLRawViewer because I like to preview shots before I decide what to export. MLVFS would be great if it worked smooth for me.

Shorter flange distance, wider opening. Much easier to adapt M25 and similar lenses onto an E-mount than it is to m4/3.

True, but mk3 cost a lot more and is in a bit bigger package, plus not speed boostable/ as adaptable. mk3 will likely be my next purchase though.

Yep, I'm pretty sure you can use the 60p feature like 5D3 (I haven't done it myself). Yes it has 1:1 crop mode and I'm pretty sure it's centred, the preview in LCD has accurate framing anyway. You can check resolutions here - http://rbrune.github.io/mlraw/ (but it's just under 1080p for continuous record, unless you shoot a 4:3 or 5:4 aspect).

BMPCC with better screen and battery does not equal BMCC in my opinion. Huge scope for a BMPCC V2 and it would sell like hotcakes guaranteed. Even with such annoying problems BMPCC sold super well, that says it all.

Not really, as you totally wrote it off to begin with, which shows you've never actually used it, which should be something you really should mention in your post. Also I think your weighting of how bad 7D raw vs 5D3 raw is isn't really accurate, if you check reviews you will find people intercutting the two and giving 7D praise for it's price. When you consider a used 7D is about 1/4 the price of a 5D3 then it's a worthy option to consider. Is the 5D3 4 times better than the 7D Raw? I don't think so. It all depends on your needs and budgets as to what is the correct camera.

I agree. I think you miss-took my sarcasm, I was also pushing for an Open mount standard. My mention Of E-mount or EF-M was merely to show better mounts on cams than m43 are already available, so why not produce a better one themselves.

So basically what you should have said is you have no idea. Why give advice if you don't really know? You can shoot full sensor at just under 1080p and upscale nicely. For the price 7D is a very capable Raw camera and can be intercut with 5d3 raw quite well on shoots (You couldn't tell the difference in an edit, I've seen people do it many times before). BMMCC is certainly a better camera to rely on than both 7D and 5D3 and has far less lag time between pushing the record button and the camera recording etc. It's these small nuances that can make ML harder to shoot with on a paid gig, but if you can deal with it and shoot around those MLRaw is very capable still. Like what? Rattle some names off if you know of some around the same price.

Gopro suckled at margins with only small incremental changes as long as they could, someone like Xiaomi now has the power to crush them. The only thing that could potentially save Gopro is their name/marketing hype... are they Apple? That is the 1,000,000 dollar question (my instincts tell me they are not).

Simple economics says GoPro is done if they don't make some kind of change. Why would people buy a GoPro when they could buy the Yi 4k for about half? If word gets around well enough (and with smaller products like this it usually does) GoPro will be having a very hard time this sector. DJI should also be worried I think.

I'd say they are easier to get in decent condition than the S8 off my experience, but they are both hard to find in good condition.
