So everyone who got scammed are "fools" for using Western Union, but Ebrahim is ok when he used his name as a password? Funny world we live in. Right now nothing is clear. I mean you're only taking his word for it, do any of you actually know him personally? Either way I feel really bad for Ebrahim and the others and I respect that he's willing to foot the bill for something that's partially his fault (if it actually happens).

There's a word for people like this and it's - Cunt. I've never been a fan of anything he's said really, but it's a shame to see people taking advantage of others like this, I hope karma gets him.

Some shots with the ridicously impractical LOMO 35-NAP2-3M

Rubber Strap Wrench. But I think they are called other names as well. -

These are the tool if you have some around. I've used them on a few lenses. -
Well do something about it

Think he's just a realist.

I realise that (and agree), but the guy above was saying he was waiting "to see what mk4 brings and whether ML might hack it" I was merely replying to that. Waiting to buy based on the assumption 5D4 will get ML just seems like a waste of time imo (and could even be likely to never happen).
-
I think waiting for a 5D4 ML hack is rather optimistic. If I had the cash I would just buy a used 5D3 and if the 5D4 ever gets MLRaw you could upgrade when it happens... there's a decent chance that could well be never.
-
Ok cheers man, I will wait and save and use the 7D a little more first.
-
For a guy with little to spend like me what would you recommend @Mattias Burling, is the 5D2 good enough? or do I really need to save for a 5D3? I'm shooting 7D MLRaw right now. This is mainly just for personal stuff and the odd job if needed.
-
I don't think high DR necessarily means low contrast, but I get your point and agree.

Hi Brian, I've been shooting in 4:3 and something close to 5:4. You can basically select any aspect you want which is cool. In 4:3 and 5:4 it uses the full height of the sensor just cropped a bit on the sides. In 16:9 Raw it uses the full width of the sensor which is a 1.62x crop. Use this table to find any answers you need - http://rbrune.github.io/mlraw/ p.s. Even though the actual resolution on 7Draw is so much less than GH4 4K 4:3 I much prefer the look of the image. I know it's cliche' but GH4 looks very digital even with whatever post work you can do, 7D looks great with minimal work.
-
I have GH4, but got 7D recently for MLRaw, it's a lot nicer than the GH4 for 2x anamorphic in my opinion. I still have both. Just make sure you get a good SSD drive and some 128GB CF cards if you get a 7D.

Highly doubt it.

I can only assume you are trolling at this point. Good day fine sir.

I don't get what the videos you posted are meant to prove. Just posting videos from "such and such" camera is proving nothing except that it's possible to get a good image with that camera. Do you know how the scene was lit? Do you know how the footage was graded? etc. The fact that you think Raws vs Jpeg in stills photography is "barely a difference" sends alarm bells ringing... I think you really need to play around a lot more with some different equipment and tools before weighing in on this one. You yourself admitted you don't know how to properly manage a Raw still file thus I'm going to assume you've never had the delight nor know how to work with Raw video and thus haven't experience first hand the options/ quality benefits it can give you over an 8bit codec.
-
I was trying to be ironic as the guy above said, "you can get a great image out of a compressed 4K camera that probably has an edge over 1080p Raw camera"... give me 10 of whatever he's on. Any old camera (or worse codec) can give you a great final image if you work it properly, that doesn't mean it's better than another camera that you can get an even better image from if you know how to use it properly.

I would send it to http://ekoecamera.com/lens-service/ , he is the guru when it comes to C-mount.

Yes. It's a decent lens and has quirky triangle aperture. That seller is notorious for giving wrong/misleading information though. Also that price is fairly high.

With a decent card I haven't had many problems with "missed shots", certainly a decent card plays a big role in a stable recording. Not sure of how well 50D MLraw actually performs sorry, can only comment on 7D at this stage.

You can get a good image out of a VX2100, why bother with an FS7???...

AUS is cheaper. Was really good when dollar dropped in 2015 after camera stock had already landed in AUS. New 2016/17 cameras aren't as good prices.

Hi guys, Price drop to 650USD ONO, don't miss out on this fine package! Cheers.
