I heard the dci image is a bit softer but that doesn't sound like too much of a bad thing on the nx1. Happy you found a setup that really works for you ! Here's the leak to my latest password : roman custom gamma c with -6 hue, -4 saturation, 0 contrast, -10 sharpness & 16-235 luma (seems to be the ideal luma range for adobe premiere compatibility with nx1 files. Premiere stretches the luma range to 0-255 with no artifacting/banding) zeiss milvus 35mm f2 no filter

Man @Liam is right. The nx1 body will be great for a long time to come especially with adapted glass. The only way ill give mine up is if the GH5 is some kinda overpowered lab grown monster lol. im currently interested in picking up great (but cheap) samsung glass for the autofocus. Latelly the way I been shooting accurate af would come in handy for my documentary work

I never shot with a GH2 before but I remember it was the image that made me take a chance on panasonic with the gh3 coming from a t3i. the GH line is amazing but I am praying for a gh5 with a 4k image that has the character of the hacked gh2

I don't know...I personally feel like each lens and camera renders an image completely different from another so lens & body combination is important. Yeah you can get a great image out of anything but all this variety just shows if the tools from the body to the lens wasn't important then there wouldnt be so much to choose from... in the case of the nx1 vs pana bodies with speedbooster im interested to see feedback on that as well. A GH4 with 0.64 speedbooster doesn't sound bad especially if I can keep the iso down at 800

You're right. I wouldn't dare go above 100-200 iso at 120fps. You can see the drop off in quality. I'll stick with 1080 at 60

Deluts 1,2 & 3 but deluts are the quickest way to introduce macroblocking and banding into nx1 footage

I started rendering all my videos without film grain and the compression is way better

i just use a custom white balance taken from a grey card or use the preset white balance with color shift

the custom kelvin white balance setting causes those jumps in color. Its weird but you can see the error when shooting in mixed lighting. Try using the custom white balance and shooting a tungsten light and moving the camera towards a fluorescent light. You will see the sudden jump in white balance
