Dear all, after some years of shooting with tripod, flycam, slider etc… I started to shoot more with monopod and Gorillapod, especially for medium close up (i.e. during music videos). I'd like to go a step further and build up a little rig for handheld shooting for my GH4 and G6. I cannot afford a MOVI and I don't like that much the flycam, so I was thinking to buy a little rig and a follow focus. Thank you very much! I'll try to catch a 28 Zeiss DDR :) Do you think also my FD 50 f/1.4 is better then the Zeiss Jena 50 Pancolar? (I'm still waitin' for the adapter!!!)

(a little "OT"): I just bought 2 old M42 lenses, a Carl Zeiss Jena (from DDR) 50 f/1.8 and a Pentacon 29 f/2.8, but I'm still waiting for the adapter (the package is arrived in 2 days from USA, but you know how it works in Italy... postmen are so sloooow, so I have to wait...). Do you think they could be as good (or better) as my beloved FD lenses?

You could buy a nice Canon FD 28 f/2.8 and use it as a "normal" lens (it's a 56 on G6), and then use the Tele function to have a 112mm (in video).

Ciao, I shot this music video with my trusty G6 and two Canon FD lenses with a 29,90 € mechanical adapter. The lenses where 28 f2.8 and 50 f/1.4: on G6 they become 56 and 100mm, thank the 2x crop. I think they are very nice lenses and I just completed the kit with a nice 35-105 f/3.5 Macro :)
