For sure @jonpais , and here is another cuestion: What will be the best suited external recorder for G80 on a budget? Must be a 4k recorder? if i´m not wrong, G80 hdmi can deliver 8bit 4.2.2 againt internal 4.2.0, so does a really improvement over internal recording? does codec makes a difference? windows user here and probably future owner of a GH5...

I can confirm that EC is the Spanish G80. Probably @BTM_Pix is the one who can explain what the "service mode" does.

In this menu if you have a chance of select a region without limit (AU?) you can get of the time restriction.

Another self shooter-editor here. It's only me that think "all my video editions look the same". I'm not afraid of brutal cutting my own footage, and i dont want to "fit it all". I have tested the hot shoe xlr adapter with sennheisser mic and it is really great performance. Good quality sound direct to the camera.

Second ring can be unscrewed aswell !! Without it you can see more naked screw. But finally i put it back, because redstan clamp dont need so much screw turns.

Do you remove this inner ring?

Thanks @Timotheus! Acetone (and cheap follow focus gear) did the job!! Red glue is a kind of screw lock and seal. Nice "DIY" Ferradans style!
