Rondabout +Anamorphic on G80

G80/G81/G85 Working!! Like G7, workaround needed.

They are different things. The cheaper, the sharper ,the easy way is cropping. Real anamorphic give others things that a few crazy people loves. Its just Aesthetic preferences.

As betatester of app, i may say that it's a big improvement for the anamorphic comunity. The app works great. You get a wireless field monitor (full screen ipad) that de-esqueeze anamorphic footage on the go, plus let you primary color correction for the GH4 Vlog in real time. Probably new features are coming (Luts, remote trigger, loupe for focus). All my support to Marcus for this app.

I used to shoot with FD50mm+ Speedbooster and get no vignette. But same configuration plus Rangefinder and I get a light vignette in corners. My helios 44-2 (58mm) dont vignette, but cant get perfect infinity focus with kowa 16H wich is esential for the rangefinder to work.

The two clamps were for the Kowa 16H. And the last one was about 3 mounth ago.

I've purchased 2 times from Redstan and everything was perfect. Fast delibery and good comunication. All my respect to Alan.

Hope they will fix it soon. In next 2 weeks or so...

Cool!! Is the hexanon 40mm 1.8 the way to go for the kowas? Caleb Genheimer use it to. Im getting vignetting with the FD50mm and speedbooster combo when rangefinder is in front and now thinking to change my taking lens.

M31Lut from CGC Osiris package give a Teal & Orange aesthetic. I think its similar to LPP tetrachrome from ImpulZ package. Some people loves the look and others hates it. On this video you can see both of them:

Congratulations Caleb!! Leaving apart the miss-aligned problems, i really like the video and the song. You´ve been keeping away the "blue pokemons" in a really pleasant way. You know my setup is really similar to yours, and now thinking about changing my FD 50mm for the konika 40mm... Thanks for sharing!

Aren't those features inherited from new G80? If i buy G80, can i expect a further update with some of the GH5 flavour?

Weathersealed and IBIS are the only upgrades from G7?

How about the focusing speed? I've sold my 20mm 1.7 for the that reason.
