the bmmcc vs mark ii/mark iii is two very different aesthetics. Super 16 vs full frame will give very different looks.

what mbit/s do you get after the conversion to lossless dngs?

not only the mark iii will drop but the mark ii will go down to very low prices. It will for sure be one of the best images per price you can get.

If i would capture something like this i would film a "future proof" format like 4k or uhd. The Gh4 with the 14-140, a 25mm 1.4 and VLOG would be my choice of a travel camera. Very efficent and nice 100mbit codec, good DR, sharp imagek, awesome battery life and easy and quick to us.

Seeing as the FS100 can be found for as low as 700$ on the used market it is really a compelling option if you dont need 4k. If anyone have used one how do you find it? Is the 1080p any sharper than the other 1080p sonys and hows the dynamic range?

Youtubes copyright system is so awfull though. People claming videos that are not even theres and videos that dont violate copyright laws.

THe nikkor 50mm 1.4 ais has problem with coma wide open so that is probably why you get the ugly bokeh lights.

Hey! Im currently finishing editing a short film and are about to do the final grading, im working in fcpx and have film convert but the looks there just aren't matching what im going for. I got some VSCO luts which i would love to use but i dont know any free way of using it with FCPX, and yes i've unfortunately already used up with my trail period on color finale on a earlier product.

is it the NX1? Looks very high res but soft from the nikon 35mm 1.4.

The starter of this thread is talking about the a6300 which has a 4k image scaled down from 6k which is very sharp, sure its not the same level as stills but you will notice a softer lens.

it would not have better center to corner sharpness, it will just be more consistent in the frame with sharpness.

i used to think the same thing but then i watched this video and it changed my mind completely.

I doubt the c500 will be released this year. I think they're are gonna wait until 8k technologies evolve to be competetiv with RED.

shoot with s16 lenses and theres no need for speed booster.

About the last line, keep in mind that the 18-55 is a 100 dollar kit lens. the 16-70mm f4 is 1000 dollar lens.
