this happened to my nex 7, i've now had my a7 for close to a year with no signs of the lcd screen pealing and i take horrible care of my camera.
-
this fairly recent topic talked alot about the 5d mark ii raw video, a good read i think.

If you are into f2 lenses you have to try the nikkor 85mm f2 ais, such a beautiful lens. very sharp and amazing colour and contrast rendering.
-
Im a real lens nerd myself so im of course curious in seeing what you guys shoot with/always wanted to shoot with My favorite and most used lens i own is the Nikkor 55mm f1.2, that lens is the deffnition of the full frame look to me. Its a bit dreamy and glowy wide open but thats what i love about it and when you stop down to even f2 its the sharpest lens i've used. My dream lens is the voigtlander 35mm 1.2. I've always loved the 35mm focal length but the dof capabilites of the 50mm has pushed me to use it more often, so have both in one lens would be amazing.

Panasonic GH5 to come at Photokina 2016, shoots 6K video and 4K 60p?
BrorSvensson replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
yeah, 24mp isn't even proper 6k wide. -
my money is still on the a6300.
-
the 18-50mm version is gonna be a huge succes in the vloging market i think, the selfie screen and 18mm at the wide end and 4k makes it very atractive for them. Much better than the current standard which is the canon g7x

disapointed that there are no viewfinder in a "premium" compact.
-
this lens + gh4 + xl speedbooster would be amazing. F1 brightness with 75-150 focal length
-
oh stupid me, i thought i was in the 80d thread not the k-1. Excuse me
-
it has 60p in 1080
-
But on the t6s you are limited to full auto when in hdr mode. So its a very consumer-ish feature.
-
the t6s has it, its basicly boosts the shadows a little bit.
-
im 99% sure that you can focus by buttons on magic lantern, it works best with stm lenses.
-
if it cant be downscaled, how come the canon 5d mark iii can do raw full frame at 1080 with a 21mp sensor?
-
1920 x 1080 is highest resolution, higher resolutions can only be reached if you go into the 5x crop mode.
-
id recommend checking out channels like film riot, indy mogul etc. There are lots of good information on youtube.
-
If its your first camera than just shoot h264 in camera, no need for raw. Focus on the fundementals of film making for now, telling a story, learning about light and how to properly expose your camera for a scene. Only after you are starting to get a grab about those things then i would recommend you messing around with raw.

that is litterly the softest lens ever made. also the m43 flange distance is way lnger.
-
sigma 8-16mm is good
-
you got pretty lucky with that name
-
nikkor 20mm f4 and 24mm f2.8 are easy to declick and very sharp, you may also look at a used samyang lens.
-
amazing allaround camera for stills for lacking for video, very soft image, dr on the low side, no peaking or zebras and no evf. The colour science is beautiful but will probably not match to easily with the panasonic and especially with the sony. just my 2 cents though.
