dont even think about the h.264 in the camera, a 50d with the mosiac morie filter is a very beautiful camera. Amazing colors and a very good option if you want to get into anamorphic. I prefer it to the eos m beacuse of the profiesional build and buttons.

The 18.4mp @ 60fps is only for 1 second though.

I woud personally go with the c300 because of the 50 mbit 4:2:2 codec over the c100 24mbit 4:2:0

Hi! Im thinking about getting a sankor 16c for my setup to use for fun every once in a while, im using a Sony A7 and Nikkor Ai primes. With the 2x anamorphic i will be getting a 3.5:1 aspect ratio and that's little wide for me. I would like to get an aspect ratio of around 2.5:1. How much image degradation will it be to crop the 3.5:1 down to 2.5:1? Is it an valid option?

the autofocus in video is amazing but it can be hard to choose were to focus because of the lack of touchscreen.

answer to question 4, yes it will be really hard and annoying to get it looking good. The motionblur will not be correct and there can be some wierd artefating.

The jupiter 9 is really hard to take apart so its really hard to fix internal issues.

Hey! Im looking for a slider that is shorter than 24"/60cm that isn't to expensive. I want to have a small slider that i can always have in my backpack and use every once in while when i want slider shot. So if you know any good alternatives please post them below.

The commlite af with a7rii is way way inferior to the af with metabones v4 adapter. Its amazing how much difference the adapter makes. I'd also add in that i shoot 50% video 50% stills with my a7 and use manual focus primes for everything, i have a beautiful set of fast nikkor ai's.

i have an a7 and use a Canon fd 50mm 1.4, works very well.

dont know your budget but the d750's 1080p 60fps is pretty darn sharp and clean, it also has a massive DR

For wildlife with a 600mm lens you will want at least 1/600th shutter so you will need to raise the iso, the iso in the 7d mark ii is far far better than the G7. Also 10fps and better auto focus on the canon is alot better than 8fps with not very good af.

Have anyone on here tried the canon ltm lenses? They seem really appealing for the sony a7.

the three leneses are the exact ones im look at right now! After using the nikkor 35mm 1.4 for a while im quite dissapointed and will probably sell. The blue fringeing ruins so many shots. There not to much info about the 28mm f2 out there, hows the bokeh on that thing? Similar to the 50mm?

Im a bit of a lens nerd myself so im interested in seeing what you guys shoot with on you cameras whether it be old vintage lenses or modern ones. My current set is made out of Samyang 8mm F2.8, Tokina 17mm F3.5, Nikkor 35mm 1.4 Ai, Minolta 55mm f1.7, Nikkor 85mm 1.8 ai and a fun one, the sigma 400mm f5.6 reflex lens.
