The higher iso will make your dynamic range smaller but it will still be bigger than if you would should with a picture style like "standard" or "natural".

you find them on ebay, just make sure to buy from china and not some reseller that sell them way overpriced

Are you gonna adapt lenses or use native? If you are going to adapt lenses get the sony a7/a7r, its a way better sensor but auto focus is horrid.

yea canon 5d mark ii, just remember that there are no higher than 30fps framerates in video.

Why would you shoot in crop mode? You get better quality cropping the 4k video,

not worth the huge size and the distortion is horrible on it.

I believe sony is releasing there a6100/a7000 soon so there's a chance that's the sensor that nikon will use aswell.

yes i agree but sharpness is a though one to messure because the sensor changes it so much. The vingetting, chromatic aberation and distortion is equal on all sensors.

i dont think its possible to make one for the nx1 because of the flange distance.

First of all a adapter with no glass will not effect image quality so the E mount version of the sammy is not less sharp than the canon mount. I'd push you to buy the nikon mount samyang 85mm becuase nikon mount is the most adaptable and can be used on most cameras. "Iv'e seen that some lenses have a lower scores because of there mount (nikon,sony,canon) is this because when a lens is adapted from EF to E or the other way around, it get's reduced sharpness because it simply works better on EF fit." That is because the different mounts have difference sensors, lets say canon has a 50mp sensor and sony a 36mp sensor. The lens will score higher on the canon because you can see more detail.

Why would you want to put a full frame converter on a full frame camera?? And no it can not be mounted, it can only be mounted on mirrorless camera becuase of the flange distance.

very very good talk, learnt so much about log and and cine gammas. Really interesting the thing about absolutely not using log for lowlight and greenscreen beacause of the bit depth.

They should give us original a7 and a7r users xavc-s, the super cheap a5100 has it. Why not the Sony a7/a7r?

the samyang tilt shift lenses are really good and have native e mount.

the canon 5ds has 9.1 stops of DR at iso 4500 the Sony A7rii has 10.1 stops of dr at 4500. Yes its true that the canon DR do not drop as fast as sony but with the sony starting at 14 stops vs the canon at 12 still gives the lead to sony.
