You get double the motion blur, can look wierd when there is lots of motion or you are hand holding, you will get the sensation that the footage is not as sharp.

if i were you id sell it and buy the tamron 24-70 2.8, that way you are future proof for any fullframe cameras.

Im really really loving my genustech eclipse, tbh i could not see any difference between the slr magic one and the genustech (i've used both now extensively). The genus is alot cheap so i would really recommend it!

Why not sell the 18-35 and get a 24-70 2.8? That way you have the same DOF and a much bigger focal range.

count the pixels and you will understand why there wont be 4k in crop mode.

buy a 50d for very around 150 bucks on ebay and play around with the raw workflow, if you like it get the 5d mark 3 and shoot full hd raw with it.

Right now they are "only" getting it working on d7100 and d5100 from what i believe

Hi! I'm thinking about getting a atomos ninja II now that the price has gone down to 300 dollars, i've heard that prores is a much better codec to film with. I shoot mostly skateboarding like sports so lots of fast action and lots of movement. Will the better codec give me a better image? If i understood right from some videos prores wont show diffrence on still videos but on action/movment shots i will se smoother motion because of the Intra frame codec, i that right? Do you guys think i should get one?

Hi! I ran into a bit of a problem last time i was out shooting a project, my china nd fader litterly broke into two pieces so the only options i had was to shoot at higher shutter speeds (1/500 (1/1000) or f8 and i opted for the former option. some clips you do notice it that much but on some high action scenes it looks quite bad. Is there any good programs or methods? I would really really appreciate some help asap.

Since that drone MFT camera can do 4k raw i have a strong feeling that panasonic will fight back and probably bring that to their next GH-camera

Some canon fd lenses show a pretty high radioactive output.

I got my A7 last week and i love it, not the sharpest 1080p but the Dynamic range with portrait -3-3-3 its very good. Get Film convert and you have a lovely image.

I own one and absoulely love it, my favorite lens for sure! CA wide open is pretty bad but the sharpness makes it worth it IMO.
