  1. Cojo, it is possible, in theory. Ihkim exploited the nx protocol (read my previous post about it). Somebody with IT skills is needed, though.
  2. My tests were with Andrew's recommended settings, which are very similar to basic GammaDR, so I used this specific profile in FilmConvert.
  3. Just some quick attempts with the just released profile. The third one is the original.
  4. First, I was replying to One of the many posts full of ignorant statements about speedbooster not being possibile with nx mount. Second, you are the pathetic One, if you are trying to demonstrate how an older and inferiore tech, out two years later, can stand in One specific field against a product which is now selling for half its price. Third, nx1 has t-x2 beaten in so many fields that is not easy to sum them up. Last...I still prefer the output from nx1 at 3200,when compare at the same smaller 24mp size (more detail and better luma noise): https://***URL removed***/reviews/image-comparison/fullscreen?attr18=daylight&attr13_0=samsung_nx1&attr13_1=fujifilm_xt2&attr15_0=raw&attr15_1=raw&attr16_0=3200&attr16_1=3200&normalization=compare&widget=13&x=0.20928967921850483&y=0.9773114415699851
  5. Nobody is depending on it. Being the best apsc camera (and sensor) around, possibly for years to come, it's nice to see a speedbooster for it. Especially when many were uncorrectly reporting that it was not feasible. Biases are bad things ;-)
  6. You'll be very disappointed, now that Luca is building a speedbooster for nx:
  7. Vaga, ihkim posted about the nx protocol, and the canon ef one is well known. What should be done is a "conversion" chip, able to perform in real time. You can read from here on: https://***URL removed***/forums/post/57372604 and here, with google translation, if needed: http://www.mydiyworld.net/
  8. I see. For video, having the 'dumb' speedbooster is often more than enough. I was hoping in an intelligent adapter for stills, to be used with longer lenses, like 400mm.
  9. Even for the intelligent adapter with af? It: intendo l'adattatore con fuoco automatico ed apertura controllata dai comandi.
  10. Really cool! And...what about the collaborazione with ihkim for the intelligent adapter?
  11. We should contact them again, then... I hope they aren't waiting for Samsung to send them a free camera, since this won't ever happen.
  12. Luca, I'm so happy that you could get in touch with ihkim as I sugested earlier! I hope you'll do the marvel!
  13. I really liked the magazine metaphor. And I totally agree with your words, provided the two different sensor sizes have the same pixel density (and pixel size, consequently).
  14. I start thinking that somebody 'paid' metabones not to develop a speedbooster for nx. It doesn't make sense otherwise.
  15. Most ppl interested in video want legacy lenses or adapted lenses. Besides, even if a dead system, Samsung lenses are reallt good now and so is the body. For how long will they suffice? 5 years? More? Then...not a real dead end after all.
  16. Dead perhaps, but still better than most 'living' cameras and, for sure, better than anything else at its pricepoint.
  17. I'd still prefer an intelligent adapter, since you can turn the 'intelligent' part off when needed. I'd go beyond, saying that I'd like both an intelligent speedbooster AND an intelligent adapter ring. This way I could also use lenses like 300-500mm using the apsc crop factor.
  18. Only ihkim worked on this and released all its work. So, if he's not interested anymore, someone else could start from there...
  19. I contacted novoflex recently. They were not interested, due to samsung quitting.
  20. Very interesting, Luca. You should get in touch with ihkim (mentioned above) for building an intelligent speedbooster for nx, together.
