 - we offer Associate Degrees and One Year Certificate Programs in Digital Filmmaking.

- through L.E.A.P., our Lifetime Equipment Access Program, students and graduates from our Programs will have FREE lifetime access to DFA equipment and facilities! This includes cameras, lights, audio equipment, editing suites, greenscreen room, multi-purpose audition rooms, soundbooth. Students in the Advanced program will have access to RED Cinema cameras, which is top of the range! As a New York-based film school, this free equipment really differentiates us from all other film schools.

- during the programs, students will write, direct and produce their own thesis film. In the shooting of the film, other students will assist as your personal film crew. In turn, when they are directing their own shorts, you will then be part of their film crew too. This provides a fantastic opportunity to rotate through the various roles on a film set and learn by doing.

-  Financial Aid (only for U.S. citizens or permanent residents): our One Year programs can qualify for Pell Grants and Stafford Loans.

- The Rose Grant (for international students and U.S. citizens and permanent residents): as part of our One Year Programs. This is a needs-based scholarship and is based on rewarding students of strong academic performance. The Rose Scholarship is up to a value of $2,400 and is available to domestic and international students.
