  1. Sorry, Im currently not in possession of a stills camera that can use them. I only have a 5Dmk3 and a Gm1 for digital stills. But I can sell the Sony version (or mft but I suspect its for the A7) to you for a good price, shipping included since you live close
  2. Yup, its actually one of the corner stones in their entire business model. To reuse parts as much as they can. You find the same exact components in all of their gear. Plugs, sockets, displays, etc, it sits in their cameras as well as studio gear.
  3. I never ever understood that. Who cares if its dying, you only have it for a year or so and if its great today its all good. The Lumia cameras have always been better than iPhone and Android for video. I mean how many years before we got manual exposure and focus on Android.... not to mention iPhone. Lumias where also first with OIS and decent lowlight. I will edit together my well over due Lumia 950 Camera review soon. But I can tell you its reall nice. Awesome macro. Never had any bugs on any Lumia or iPhone, that's exclusively an Android experience for me. Meanwhile I shot this with the L950 (speaking of soft ), don't watch in full screen, its SD def.
  4. I find this guy entertaining so when the video popped in the feed I watched. Really clever idea imo to use these types of bags. They are meant as add ons, are supposed to be rugged but fast to access and they are kinda stylish. The Indiana Jones one is cool. But being of Finish decent I bought the one he had, paid $6. (Also I know from experience that the Swedish modern one has the opening on the side which feels a bit of.)
  5. That could actually make the AX100 interesting. Its a nice little package that only really fails in the DR department.
  6. Probable A 4K Ninja Star type recorder for us that don't want a monitor, just the 4:2:2. Hopeful A new BMD camera with a s35 sensor and m4/3 mount (its gold Im telling you).If not m4/3 I guess a EF is ok. Wishful That more brands realize that thin bit 4K isn't worth more than colors, ergonomics, DR, workflow, etc. Something from Digital Bolex that I can preorder
  7. They are cool. But they preform pretty equal to the BMPC4K or URSA mini 4K. Same strengths, same weaknesses. So I would get the URSA since its the same price or cheaper and then its brand new with local warranty.
  8. Im pretty sure he would dissagree
  9. That would make araucaria the winner.
  10. Found a cheap Mitakon Speed Master 35mm f0.95 today. Hope I get it before I need to return the LS300 Another 0.95 lens Im looking for is the Voigtlander 25mm. I used to have it for the GH3 but thought it was a bit over priced. But now when I could use it on s35 with full coverage.... Yummy. I know many dont like these type of lenses. But if you know me, I like them weird
  11. It sure looks nice My old hometown actually. Im about two hours away now. How long are you here, you should browse blocked and score some used gear. You can almost always get 50-70% of the new price on used Panasonic stuff. Here is a search for "panasonic" in Stockholm. Im sure the sellers would meat you at the central station. And remember, their prices are always just "asking", always low ball http://www.blocket.se/stockholm/ljud_bild/foto_Videokameror?q=Panasonic&w=1&st=s&ca=11&is=1&l=0&md=th&cg=5040&st=s&c=5042
  12. Yup, $480 brand new means $300 used in my world. Maximum.
  13. Honestly, I don't think so. Video shooters are conservative. It took Panasony ages to even get noticed. In Sweden they are still considered "Low Class" and their second hand value is at an all time low. And if we look at other 8-Bit cameras with only HD, not even 4:2:2, no slowmo, not as versatile mount, etc, they are massively popular. So I think JVC could implement Raw and it would still have a hard time. Just look at Kinemini. Now I know, JVC have a much longer tradition and are more known among cameras. But still. Even Nikon are still considered "bad" at video even though they passed Canon in internal quality of unhacked DSLRs some time ago. But if JVC keep at it, Im sure they can succeed. Just hope they can hang on longer than Samsung (which of course is another example of a camera selling way way under its potential).
  14. Probably yes. 99% of the reviews are from before the firmware updates.
  15. I have a s16 TV-Zoom yes. And you bet I will try it out
  16. Yup, and it looks really good imo.
  17. The big difference is that the 5Diii has no aliasing or moire. The 5Dii has alot. Also I think (someone correct me if wrong) the 5dii doesnt shoot continuous Raw in 1080p.
  18. Not yet, just that opening slider shot but it was so damn windy. Didn't bring a stabilized lens so I had to skip the slider for the rest of the video. Will shoot more vintage this week and use a slider. Hopefully test out the s16 mode as well with C-mounts.
  19. Problem for me is ignoring the price difference with the c300ii and the added features compared to a c100ii.
  20. No problem, thread is getting long Yes, there is a Log profile. Grades nicely.
  21. Shot Raw and the iso is mearly meta data. (personaly I have never shot a single clip out of native iso on any BMD in prores either.)
  22. Today I went Vintage Best part of an MFT mount is of course the short flange. Here are some frames from an old Chinon 55mm that I got for next to nothing. And here is something different. In an attempt of illustrating how it is working with a "real" camcorder compared to a cinema camera or DSLR, I uploaded an unedited clip. IMO it shows how it is. You keep rolling since the SDs lasts forever. The battery runs all day so you rarely turn the camera of. The NDs and other manual control lets you change things fast. Its the same lens as above, so no stabilization. I added a LUT but did no adjustments so the grade is of in many places.
