  1. I did, but I usually stick to 2.5K. Ive been upscaling for years This was a test for specifically grain.
  2. Ive been going back and forth if I was going to give this a try. But ultimately have decided to pass. I dont know. I guess if you want a small body with s35 4k, its cool. But it always seems that Sonys are... A bit further from perfect than other cameras. And for me personally, that feel that 4K is just a feature and no way near a must, its tricky. I mean with a kit lens it costs $150 less than I was offered an F3 and only $250 less than a C100. And on top of that it will be half price on the used market before summer is over. I guess I dont see it as an A-cam (over heat) and as a B-cam its probably better to wait. But if you guys that bought it start uploading stunning footage.... Who knows
  3. Ok here is a little comparisons. In the sky of the very first shot its visible straight away imo. The grain is almost fully preserved on Vimeo but turned to crap on youtube. (watch in 1080p of course)
  4. For videos on youtube you do. But for stills I don't see it.
  5. Im uploading a video to Vimeo tonight with lots of grain. Then we can compare to the youtube version.
  6. Typical. Just as I started to find my way back. Left about two years ago when the search function was all messed up. I like the quality. Specially of grain, that always gets messed up on youtube. Regarding content I think the quality is the same on both platforms.
  7. It shoots Raw only so depending on the doc it could get massive. Here is a short one. Always liked the feel of it.
  8. I saw several reports where they made sure to have it open. Still overheated.
  9. It takes up to a week for them to publish a sent in rumor. Give it time.
  10. Ok now its only one left that it could be basically. It was the Canon 5Dmkiii. In the second video it was. A: Sony RX100iv in Slog2. B: Canon 5Dmkiii in Raw C: Samsung NX1 in Gamma DR And a summary of all the guesses: Red One Red BMPCC Canon ZR50 NX1 nx500 UFOs Digital Bolex 16 16mm film Boston Terrier Point and Shoot with DOF adapter XC-10 Nikon D750
  11. ND throttle solves the problem as long as your adapting.
  12. Still no one has the right answer. Here is a clue, its one of the cameras in this video. (BTW, 4K upload so it might process for a while.)
  13. No winners so far. The lens was called out by Bror. Im uploading a clue to youtube as wee speak. BRB.
  14. Either way. Slaves exist because of an unregulated market is trying to maximize profit. Thats no secret. Im not saying its good or bad. Im just clarifying since I often see people online use the word communism to describe the downside of successful capitalism.
  15. We have a winner! At least on the dog question. Though no winners on the camera yet.
  16. Capitalism creates slaves, its the core of the ideology.
  17. Color finale is so worth the money imo. But you could use Rocky Montain video converter. Convert the files to prores, just to be able to bake in a LUT in the process.
  18. Didnt quote you. Have nothing against your point.
  19. I believe they are. As well as the d7200.
  20. This. When I question why people get so offended by female ghostbusters its all about freedom of speech and how PC has gone to far. Ok then, lets discuss the downsides to ALL religions... Nope, not allowed. To delicate.
