  1. My list: 1. 4K crop mode asignable to a button. 2. Save choosen frame rate to custom modes. 3. Focus assist on the centre button also with electronic lenses.
  2. I know, just messing A thread isnt complete untill Tugela uses it for his/hers Canon Envy Rants
  3. Rolling shutter doesnt have much to do with it actually. Resolution. downsampling, etc is the key. The D16 was worse than the BMPC4K. And it has a global shutter. Panasonic is on the right track. The lx100 is very very clean.
  4. Your saying for example the BMCC looks like crap without it but good with? Dont buy it
  5. Either way, if the a6300 doesnt have moire I will be shocked. The a7sii has it, as well as every other Sony mirrorless. Maybe they got it right, but statistically it doesnt look good.
  6. And have you seen that they are releasing an Electronic EF version Would be cool, but probably x5 the cost as well. If lucky. Thats one or the perks of using it on the NX1 and A7sii. The sensors are already large. No need to boost
  7. I became aware of this thing through this forum. So I guess Im kicking in wide open doors here. But I like it so I thought I show my results anyway. I got both the Nikon to E-Mount and NX. My first thought was, shortly the ND must be bad and soften the image. Well, compared to my proven Genus Eclipse its actually sharper... It has a shift towards yellow. But its so small that after grading its not visible anymore, even without correcting., Some moving images and review.
  8. Havent tried, have been sticking to iso 800 so far. But I can test some day.
  9. Yup, thats why I like good HD. I mean in my side by sides most like the BMPC in HD upscaled over its 4K. And that saves tons of space on the SSD and eases up the post processing.
  10. I didn't say anything that contardcts that, so not sure whats not to agree on But I get your point. The only solution is to make nice looking stuff so the clients trust you. Japan Photo aren't great either. Go with Cyberphoto or Rajala. Think both will ship internationally. Cyberphotos customer service is great, drop them an email. (the give you candy as well :) )
  11. Im not a big fan of Scandinavian Photo, don't know what gave you that idea. Just use prisjakt.se, who has the energy to look around. The price is on three of the biggest retailers, http://www.prisjakt.nu/produkt.php?p=3144178 "600-700 USD"... what a rip off.
  12. Its a bit cheating to guess after he gave the answer to 1 and 2
  13. All of them. Its the current price in Sweden. That used one for 300 is from a guy I met the other week. But honestly, you can get one cheaper in a month or two. The second hand value for mirrorless in Sweden is super low.
  14. Definitely. The C100 is the boss among freelancers because of the complete package. There are cameras with higher res, wider DR etc but usually not in the same camera. And not in one thats also very complete build and button wise. Ive mentioned it before, But most big TV Networks and broadcasters are way more interested in color depth and DR over resolution. Blind tests have showed that people respond more to DR and color than resolution. I thought it was weird when 4K became the new "thing". All reviewers etc said "not needed", "not now", etc. But all of a sudden they changed, like over night. All of a sudden 4K was this incredible feature. While in my opinion it still to this day is nothing more than feature among the others. Dual SD, 4K, Tomato, Tomato. I watched one review where the guy said he loved Nikon, always had. But if the next didn't have 4K he would skipp it. And I thought "why?". I mean the GH4 he was switching to isn't exactly a head turner. Its nice, but he would be trading an afoul lot of things he like for just some 4K. And for cropping and reframing... yeah thats nice, I do it to sometimes. But just because there is 4K doesn't mean that its not possible to frame properly from the beginning. Lots of rambling here. Guess the point is. There are more cameras to choose from than there are people to use them And lets not forget that video features is still not exactly what sells these cameras. The DSLR boom is dead. Most people have stopped filming and jumped to the next fad hobby. Those of us left have all we need.
  15. Well there you go Ok, then I guess 2 is a7rii.
  16. FPN is only a problem if you under expose. Ive never had it on the production camera. Lowlight, daylight, nolight doesnt matter, no FPN.
  17. I returned my G7 but it is a very good image/dollar. And it is so freeking light its scary. It weighs nothing. Pretty comfortable to. Its retail price is down to $420. And everything points to it following the same path as thr G6 did here. Meaning it will cost around $270 before winter. Which of course gives it a used value of $200, and thats being extremly generous. Used price today is $300 for mint condition with +1 year warranty. All this is imo because of a totally over saturated market. There is imo no way all these brands can keep competing like this. Maybe Samsung did the smartest move and just got out.
  18. Just the 16-50. Needed CAF since I didnt have a monitor.
  19. Played a little more to make two more "modern" and clean looks. (Didnt frame the letterbox properly)
  20. Dog says thanks I don't really remember which is which but the OSIRIS was the Kodak 6. The Impulz was a Fuji and a Tecktachrome. The Make Log Like are from James Miller. I aply grain by placing it on the track above and switch the blend mode to overlay. On one of the added grains I added some contrast as well My favorite is the Impulz or one of the IWLTBAP.
  21. Tried some different LUTs with the NX1 today. Im stuck at home guarding my dog after surgery, so this is what I can do for now basically.
  22. FWY, its not allowed to criticize Red or claim that they have missed deadlines on the internet, otherwise some Hummer driving dudes in Okleys will come to you're house...
  23. Or are you just choosing to read his comment with an angry tone?
