Maybe on Vimeo. But on youtube my experience is actually the oposite. Viewing a video in a smaller window than its resolution in other words not full screen will do it. But viewing it converted to 720p in full screen shouldnt exaggerate the artifacts, in fact there should be less. Again this is from my tests on youtube, can't swear by Vimeo.

And the dude just chilled why I filmed him. Great feature of a small nonthreatening camera with decent focal lengths

Try&return but its looking like i will keep it. Have been so close to buying a XA20 or Xf100 for years now. Love the HMC151 I borrow from work every know and then. Here is a test from today, I had zero time for grading so I just used some of my presets. No time for a Tripod either.. No keying or power windows. So it is what it is

Got of early from work today and had a quick play. Will have footage up within an hour.

There is some on the NX1 as well. I held my breath a little over the a7rii since all the A7x besides the S has quite a bit of moire, and with that high mp (even higher than nx1).... But it's not looking to bad, totally manageable.

Canon's new $30,000 video camera does only 1080p

The EF-PL Mount for the C300ii might be included in the, "Canon Service will put whatever mount on it you want". https://youtu.be/-Oe2sZMWbvg?t=8m25s -
A click of the "joystick" opens the quick function menu, which is customisable. There you can have the ISO in spot number one. To leave the menu is not as tricky as Digitalrev made it out to be. Just double click menu. Also one can record from the fn menu. Not as good as not having an ISO button but maybe not the end of the world either.

Probably true, scary thing was that on FB some looked older. But it seems to be a thing these days to skim through every new spec list, find one thing, and then just hate on the entire thing. Like not every single piece of kit didn't have trade offs. -

The Canon rep at Zacuto even said, "Canon Service will put whatever mount on it you want". Krasnogorsk Bayonette? -

I'm actually a bit shocked of the comments it gets at No Film School. Are people claiming to be film makers, creative, artists really that narrow minded and straight up stupid. Or is it that its only trolls visiting that site these days? People are really without being ironic talking about it and comparing to Red Epic, Alexa and even A7s!!!!? They honestly think Canon meant this camera for prosumers and enthusiasts to shoot some drunk girl in a brides dress? Cant their imagination expand more than "surveillance" like for example nature, sports (night time enduro), space? They honestly see no potential with this sort of tech that a cheap LED cant replace? If so, imo, filmmaking is not what they should be doing. At least not in any sort of creative fashion. -

Ok, "On the African River Banks at Night", Scene 5, Roll Sound, Camera, Action!... Cut!, Ok someone explain why they are all running away? and Esteban stop putting your head in the crocodiles mouth...." -

Im thinking National Geographic, Nocturnal animals, caves, deep sea, Discovery Channel, "Worlds Darkest Gold Mines" and such. Its like a Gopro or Phantom, no need for extra tricks or features. One task, high ISO, that's it. But who knows, might be usable for lots of things. Looking forward to finding out. -
Is it the Atomos Card? thats the one a reviewer said worked.

This is not an example of good grading or anything but its 8-Bit Log and if you ask me it holds up to be pushed around quite a bit. I agree that there is a difference between Raw and Raw, 8-bit and 8-bit, and so on. I would also say there is a difference between 12 stops of DR and 2 stops of DR, depending in the codec and sensor (how far one can push). In the video I have pushed shadows and highlights quite a bit, applied a LUT (again, just a quick test) and done some keying and adjustments.

Ask Bolex, they tell you pretty much everything.

I'm predicting that like all prior cameras with exception of the bmpcc it will be regularly available in stores that have it from day one and never out of stock. A little plus of living in a small country, a place where pretty much nobody uses mirrorless and where Nikon is considered the "new kid".

There is pretty much zero risk to be a buyer on eBay. Seller on the other hand, absolutely nothing stopping buyers from ripping you of. I wouldn't have a problem buying anything from eBay but I would never sell something expensive.
-
You could use your variable to test. Mark the stops on it if they're not already there and try different apeture/iso/nd combos and see what you feel you need the most.

Now you're just making stuff up again. I didn't say people stopped talking, I said the hate stop. Instead people started commenting on how good it looked. And honestly you nor I have the mandate or power to proclaim any camera produces garbage. You have to learn people are different and like different things. Otherwise your eventually gonna have a heart attack. There is no "right" or "correct" look. Let's take our two youtube channels as example. You most likely wouldn't like the footage I produce. I think what you made with the NX1 would make me very disappointed if it came out of my camera. But guess what, lots of people like the look you got, and many liked mine. That in itself is absolute 100% proof that you or I can't say camera x footage is garbage. If we did, it means we are insane.
