Nicely done. An I believe you are correct. All tests Ive seen including my own point to the same thing. Thats why its been the nr1 recommendation for a long time on how to get better looking YT video. Higher resolution will grant the video a higher bitrate. So an upscaled HD video will sometimes look better than a downscaled 4K video. A middle path if you want higher bitrate than if you upload HD but smaller files than upscaling to 4K is to upload in 1440p. If memory serves me right, YT grants the following: 4K - 35ish Mbps 1440p - 10 Mbps HD - 4 Mbps

To help calm things down, enter Marten. Calmness personified.

Please stop. You have posted the PMs. Everyone can make up their own mind if they look threatening or not. No need to keep talking to me.
-
Im totally fine with that. And I see you avoided my question. Thats fine to, I don't need an answer. Now, please, don't drag me into this conversation again. Because as some have pointed out, its so derailed it deserves to be locked. If I had known you would have been "threatened" by a PM I obviously wouldn't have sent it. Out (but I will jump right back in if someone tries to take a cheap shot. I hope I don't have to.)
-
I tried but you kept me in the conversation by claiming that I "threatened" you. Why in gods name would you say that if you wanted me to leave the conversation? All my message was about was trying not to further argue about something that lead to a devoted moderator getting canned. For the sake keeping things calm. Im totally fine with you posting the messages. But now I have lost all respect for you. I say I don't want to discuss this camera further until there are actual users in the thread. And try to stay away. You answer by making a poll about how pathetic I am and saying I threatened you... Honest question here, do you understand why that might bring me back to the thread? Or don't you understand the question? I believe you are right. I won't post anything in this thread again. But there are some things I wont let go unanswered. Taking cheap shots to try and force someone back into a conversation just to say "how many times are you out".. nope, won't stand for that kind of crap.

The post about threatening PMs is directed to me and is a lie. His English just isn't good enough to understand what was being said. If I had known that it was that bad I would have used different wording. I have now pushed the ignore button on him so it won't happen again. The only PMs that can be viewed as something even close to "threats" in my message box is from a moderators who didn't like the answer to a question they got. Out.

Ok then lets hear it. Scientifically speaking, what is the nr1 spec that all types of photographers must take into consideration first to escape ridicule from you? Here I thought it varied between styles. Like for example a landscaper would put resolution over AF. But I guess I was wrong. So please enlighten me. What is the correct and accurate opinion? Which is the spec that all people in the world must put first? And while you are in the lab, what is the correct flavor of ice cream that the entire world find tastiest according to science? I think I will enjoy my Sunday now. And I think I will skip this thread until some people who actually have the camera can try to get it back on course . (Btw, you dont know squat about my YT followers, but I do..)

You don't see a difference between a camera enthusiast that like to watch photo/video related videos and someone who spends time on a forum? Ok then.. There are no accurate opinions. Only fascists believe so
-
They do. My subscribers are all camera nerds like me. So they definitely know. (Ps. I dont agree with separation of build and ergonomics. And all of the things are subjective. It doesn't affect the poll.)

What is the most important spec (to you) ?

All of them are subjective. That doesn't in anyways matter for the poll. -
Wow, the Fuji IBIS is much better than I expected.

Looks great @Matt Kieley

You can rig it out to suite ergonomics. -
It varies. I have only once asked to borrow a camera (LS300) and of course gave it back. A couple of Lumia phones I reviewed where loaners. The two cranes (I declined reviewing more than two models) they never asked to get back. I only review things I genuinely think are good so I have had things sent to me that aren't good enough to be reviewed. Sometimes they want it back and sometimes I never hear from them again. I probably could get a lot of stuff to review if I asked but its so boring and I have a real job. Thats why my reviews are mostly positive. Its stuff I've researched and then bought with my own money. And even then its nit certain that I will review it.

There is an electronic follow focus that will get AF in a firmware update. It means AF of on manual lenses as well. Electronic follow focus or Autofocus on all lenses ever made for any system. I was asked to review it together with a gimbal but will wait until the AF update. (You wouldn't believe how many companies try to give me gimbals for review. By reviewing the cranes it seems like I opened a Pandora box.)

Bolex nailed motion. Ccd + global shutter. Ultimate indie cine cam and still worthy to be called BMPCCii or URSAmicro imo. -

Too late, option to edit is gone. -
I haven't used that particular mic but I have been happy with other Schoeps models for almost ten years. So the brand is definitely something I can recommend.
-
Or sell them.
-
I was very clear with it being just my personal opinion.
-
Not for me. Its about the controls. Great lens lineup, nice colors and mindblowing ISO preformance is bonus. Ps. Its not supposed to have "argumenting power", I found it very interesting and people can take away what they want from it

Yes but the fun of the game is to force people to pick one -
Canon M50 mirrorless camera features 4K video

Last place I will paste this, promise But I thought it was relevant in this thread since many wonder why Canon is selling so much more than others even when some specs are lower. It could be because they nailed a spec that matter. -
Im gonna show this here as well (will be dropping it in a Canon thread also). I did a poll where I listed 5 specs and asked people what was the most important to them. 864 votes so far. And the winning spec is something Fuji does very well imo. So there definitely is a lot of appeal to the crowd out there in the non forum world.
