Start with a few but leave it open to sequals. If you write three episodes so that they stand on their own it won't be to overwhelming. Its always good to have short term goals. But leave a window that sets the story up for more. If you commit to 10 episodes and get bored after 5 it might be a pain.

Blind Test - Which colors do you prefer?

Yeah for being small and pretty darn affordable cameras all three of those packs quite the punch. I have to do a B&W test next time I happen to have that many cameras in my house. -

The samples in the results post where all graded to taste. Some even had grain added. The DP3 image of the little girl however is almost untouched.Thats why I love Foveon no matter what the results of the vote was -

Here are the results! These where the cameras in the test. The only one missing from the picture is the one that took the picture, the Fuji X-Pro2. So without further ado here are the results from worst to best according to you and two other places. If I would have counted the three forums individually it would have been three separate lists. The Top-3 was different on all three. (click on them twice for full resolution) #6 In last place and with only 7.7% of the votes and therefor with the ugliest colors, The Sigma DP3 Quattro #5 Close contender for the bottom spot with 10.4% of the votes was the most expensive camera, The Fujifilm X-Pro2 (35mm f1.4 R) #4 Only one vote away we find its little sister at 11.7% The Fuji X70 #3 First to receiver a medal in third place and with 15.6% is the modern vintage Foveon marvel, The Sigma DP1 (I still can’t believe I paid $28 for it ) #2 The silver at 18.2% goes to one of germanys finest and another modern vintage legend, The Leica X1 #1 But the gold and color champion title goes to the streets shooters best friend.. no less than 36.4%…. .. Acclaimed King of the B&W and now also colors… The Riiiiiiicoooooooooh GRii!!!!!!!!! Thanks for participating, this was fun imo! /M -

I love the fact that B is getting so many votes. Since its one of those cameras that people often complain about the colors (me included that think they need a lot of work compared to others) BTW, Im watching on my calibrated EIZO at work and A nailed the yellow imo. But B is nice. Many like D which is good but that tomato looks a bit sickly. -

I like Matt Day a lot. But that's more analog. -
This sort of talk is simply not true. Not even the part about profit since its proven that a diverse company are more efficient and makes more profit than one that's not. They hire men because they are men. On another note, Why people still deny reality and go of into fantasy land I will never understand. It cant be because of an orange president, it must be some sort of gender fanboy mechanism.

Interesting results so far thank you all for participating. I couldn't resist so just posted it on Swedish forum as well where they usually care about nothing but specs. The result so far differ alot between here and Facebook so I wanted a third crowd. Results when I get home from work today. -

No M8. They are all APS-C. I will count up the votes and let you all know tomorrow. -
Sorry if I offended you, it was just a joke. I just couldn't carry on the debate because I dont believe your moms story to be exactly true. Im NOT calling her a liar. Its just that statistically she has been discriminated against several times through out her career. Be it salary, missed opportunities, asked to get coffee, etc. And saying all is fine because of this one person and ignoring the bigger picture is a major part of the problem. Nikon did nothing wrong because this one woman in another part of the world doesn't "feel" discriminated against at her workplace. Again, sorry if my joke struck a nerve. BTW, if you want to discuss journalism Im in. I even have a degree in it plus years of working experience as a radio reporter.

NOTE! These are not graded to look good or artistic. Blown Highlights on Purpose: Otherwise most people tend to rank by DR. Different crops and lenses: Lots of people would if not DR go by resolution. This is an experiment just for fun. The Test All aspects of an image quality i subjective imo. The one that I think separates people the most is color. Im currently working on a review video comparing a couple of cameras. They all have nice colors imo, just a bit different from each other. And in the video there will be plenty of examples with nice exposures, nice content, etc that makes all the cameras shine. They are all really nice cameras that consistently gives me nice looking images. But there will also be a couple of boring test shots like this. Just for the fun of it I though I would ask which colors people prefer not knowing which is which. Again, just for fun. If you think its "stupid" or that the test is "wrong" (that always happen) then please move along. And try not to peep and guess which might be the highest speced camera. Go by your gut. Which pallet is the most pleasing? Or perhaps least ugly Camera A Camera B Camera C Camera D Camera E Camera F Personally I like the red on C, Green on B. Undecided on the rest. But its difficult for me to say since I know which is which and how I would expose/correct/grade them to look good.

You sound a bit like what we is Sweden call a "vit kränkt man"

These are hilarious and sad at the same time. I sometimes teach marketing, PR, etc and these are definitely going in the memory bank to use as bad examples Nice. I was out all day today with the DP3Q, got to love Foveon. I know right. And they aren't even in pink... how are they then supposed to take pictures? Her is an image I took of another couple of poor souls. And no big man to help them cary and explain what all the buttons does...

My guide to buying a cheap Hasselblad medium format camera
Mattias Burling replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
Not true. We are talking about after we've tasted as well as after we have printed/published the images. If true answer this. What is "better" B&W or color? And not it depends on this or that. What is better. Which is the correct answer. And this includes everything, street, x-ray, portrait, sports. Which is the correct answer to all situations in life. Answer this so we can go around and tell everyone using the opposite that they are wrong stupid idiots. If you say color my dentist is sure gonna get it. Not using color when its the correct and better image quality... You by now know that there of course is no right or wrong to this question and I dont need an answer. We have derailed the thread enough imo. Out -

So if I say that I like strawberry Ice Cream but you say Chocolate. Its all just me trying to find an excuse to dismiss your idea...? Sorry but I don't buy that. The biggest mistake in this logic is that you believe one of us could be "right". Where as believe that with ice cream flavour as well as photography there is no right or wrong. Its all in the eyes of the viewer/eater. A person saying that an image from camera A is nicer than from camera B no matter the subject. And not accepting that others could disagree even though they probably accepts his/hers opinion. Instead calling them stupid. That is not a creator imho. And therefore not a photographer but a guy with a camera.
