Where? (Because I know you don't mean the video I posted since it wasn't even shot with an X-Pro2. And it was obviously just some quick clips without an ND made for fun. I was planning on using my smartphone for it... and that would have been good enough. Hardly a reference for video quality imo. The stills in the video on the other hand look f..ing amazing, so you cant mean them. And Ive never been able to get anything as good looking from a Panasonic. If the GH5 is a video camera with still capabilities as an after thought.. well.. then why have they designed it as a stills camera.. what a waste.)

It is official, sadly not until "late December". What makes me happy is the focus improvements. Because after ALOT of testing I had decided that the X-Pro2 AF was already enough for any sort of sports shooting needs I may encounter. And I have decided to get the 50-140/2.8 for such shooting. And then Fuji goes and makes it even better.. yey. Also the new roadmap with a 200mm f2.0 WR... yummy FUJIFILM X-Pro2: Ver.4.00 1. Addition of 4K video mode (excluding HDMI out) The update adds 4K video using the X Series’ famous Film Simulation modes. You can input audio from an external microphone. (Excluding HDMI output for recording) 2. Support for tether shooting via USB or Wi-Fi After connecting a camera to a computer, the compatible software (*1) will enable users to transfer images taken with the camera to the computer and save them in a specified folder, or to control the camera from the computer. 3. New AF tracking algorithm for moving subject Thanks to the newly developed image recognition algorithm, the update enhances AF-C to track moving subjects twice as fast as previous firmware(*2). In addition, the update also enhances tracking to be able to capture up to 50% smaller moving subjects than before. 4. Support “FUJIFILM X RAW STUDIO” Once connecting a camera to a computer via USB cable, the “FUJIFILM X RAW STUDIO” enables users to convert RAW files with X Processor Pro. The first batch processing will also be available. The “FUJIFILM X RAW STUDIO” can be downloaded from the FUJIFILM website for free. 5. Improve radio flash controller usability The upgrade allows users to shoot with compatible third party studio flash in high speed sync. or TTL mode via their radio controllers. 6. Support for backup/restore of camera settings via FUJIFILM X Acquire Once connecting a camera to a computer via USB cable, the “FUJIFILM X Acquire” allows users to backup/restore camera settings to/from a file. Copying all camera settings from one camera to another is available. They also added a function to the X-T20 that I really would have wanted last time I used it. FUJIFILM X-T20: Ver.1.10 1. Touch panel operation when using the EVF The firmware update will make it possible to use the touch panel while looking into the viewfinder. According to the operation method, it's possible to set the effective range of the touch panel to the full screen, right half, left half, or OFF.

Sony's new full frame CineAlta camera is announced: VENICE

Now Ive peeped them on the calibrated Eizo. Scarlet looks nice but not lovely, some green stuff. Tom looks dying. George looks great. Undecided on the bear tones. -

Its very subjective. It always is. Image quality is not measurable in any way. Its all up to the viewer. Regarding calibrated monitor. I dont want to have to use that. And I definitely wouldn't want a camera where only 0.000001% of the viewers can appreciate it. But with that said, I will be in front of my Ezio at work in an hour. So let me get back to you -

Its a gem alright. When using it one gets why it was sold out for so many months. Btw, I can't remember if it says "Made in Germany" on it. If so, according to Overgaard at least 80% of the camera must be made in Germany. But who cares. It could be a Panasonic or even a Casio. End result is awesome. 45min to Fujikina.. time to turn on the coffee -

Imho the first two looks pretty darn awful in terms of skin tones. They look sick and ready to puke. But maybe that was part of the story Sony has some nice colors in some cameras. The best one I had was the FS100. And S-Log is ok. It needs practice. My current beef with Sony is the well below the bar reliability. There is always some problem with the once I buy lately. And I have bought many. At least 8 just in the last two years. -
The X-E3 - Fujis new 4K shooting "Mini X-Pro"!

Pretty funny how all our needs and preferences can vary. Which of course is part of the fun with photo/videography I think the 18-55 2.8-4 is awesome, took some great looking shots with it on a gig when I also had the 23/2 and 56/1.2. And the stabilization works nicely in video for any type of handheld I do (which is very little, I like tripods). Im actually planning to do a review video called "The first kit lens ever worth buying" or something like that -

Its also touch screen which in combination with the joystick is probably enough. On my X-Pro the pad is basically just for flipping through menus. They are pared X-T2/Pro-2 and X-T20/XE-3. High end and mid range. -
Next to the X-T20 its going to cause some serious doubts on which to buy for those looking to get in at the mid level of the Fujifilm system. Personally I love my X-Pro2 more than the X-T2 I had or the X-T20 I get to use at work. And here I would probably go for the X-T20 since this doesn't have an OVF anyway. But it still is a tasty camera. The good news is that predecessors like the X-T10 and X-E2 costs seriously nothing only a few month after release where I live. Even the flag ships are starting to plummet since Sweden is still hardcore DSLR users. Official release is tomorrow but its all leaked. http://www.fujirumors.com/new-fujifilm-x-g-roadmap-firmware-x-e3-specs-confirmed-release-september-28/ Specs: X-E 3 24.3 million pixels “X-Trans CMOS III” X-Processor Pro 3 type 104 million dots touch panel liquid crystal 4K movie shooting X series first Bluetooth connection compatible “Touch Function” (Japanese name unknown) loaded. Canon 5D Mark III - 3.5K and 4K raw video with Magic Lantern
Mattias Burling replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
I thought the 5Dmkiii was a real winner before the 3.5K... this just certifies its spot imo. Nice video, some really awesome looking shots in there. -
Fujirumors have always been on point in my experience. So I feel confident Im taking the apples from my garden to the juicer on Saturday. Feels like a perfect little family outing to test the new 4K. So my fingers are crossed that its announced and released tomorrow. Otherwise I will use it to test the X-T20 in 4K. BTW, here are a bunch of stills I took with the X-Pro2 and X-T20 side by side. I like that its not obvious which images are from the smaller and cheaper camera. Even the kitzoom blends well with the primes. There are 1-3 Leica Q images in there as well.

Pictures of the new X-E3 and the new lenses leaked. Think it has 4K, could be something to use as a travel hybrid or B-Cam. Maybe @mercer wants it Sadly no image of an X80, guess it wont happen. Still excited for the new Firmware. http://www.fujirumors.com/fujifilm-x-e3-xf80mm-macro-gf-45mm-images-price-yen-leaked/

Rumor says the update is tomorrow. I'm for one am pretty excited. I don't feel the need for the 4K. The HD is just lovely imo. But Im hoping that there will be other stuff as well. Maybe we get histogram while recording or peaking while recording like on the X100f. At the same time Im scared that they will implement the same need to switch drive mode like on he X100f, X-T20 and X-T2. I hate that. So fingers crossed. Also Im hoping for the ability to put exposure lock on the front button. Might happen. And the ability to view the entire screen on the miniature LCD in the OVF in single focus. Probably wont happen. Latest rumor also says its getting tethering. But the one thing Im secretly hoping for the most is the announcement of the Fuji X80. Ive been patiently waiting for that or a Ricoh GRii. Both current models are just a tweak from being the last stealthy street camera I would ever need (yeah right.. ). If it has the new sensor it will be magic. It might get 4K as well.... ok not a video camera but still, I would find use for it. So one day to go!

The 40 is very affordable. The 35/1.4 has its issues, I like it but many don't.

Voigtlander 50mm f1.5 in M mount. Not exactly vintage but they sometimes pop up used for $400 or even less.

LOL Canon... C200 Codec "Upgrade" details announced
Mattias Burling replied to EthanAlexander's topic in Cameras
Sorry but I couldn't give two shits and a popsicle about this camera or all the whining about it. Imo all camera brands sucks about equal. Sony definitely sucks more equally than others though. Leica alot less. But otherwise they are all just as bad. Or good depending on how much of a cynical ass one is -
The wakeup is as fast as any modern camera. I set it to 30sec before sleep. And the manual focus wheel makes it as far as I know, the fastest manual focus compact camera in the world. Much faster than my x100f or Ricoh GR. Perfect for zone focus on the streets. But be sure to catch the moment, there is no spray and pray. I never shoot more than one picture at the time on the streets so Im fine with it. And on the DP1 its easier. 28mm is my preferred focal length for street. No need for a good evf I just need a general view with shapes. Exposure is already set. Focus wheel at 2.5 means all is in focus no matter what. I think 1.8m to infinity or something like that. Now I can just snap away All of the following shots are shoot on the move while walking and within a second or two of waking the camera up from sleep mode. And if one wants more resolution I have done some street shooting with the SDQ as well. A bit big for that imo though. BTW, I have a DP Quattro on the way and I definitely will shoot the streets with that as well
