I dont give a crap about specs. I care about how it preforms. Just look at the Sony A7sii, a6300 and GH4. Great specs but suck ass compared to a 5Dmkiii. A Red Scarlet, Sony FS5 or FS7 all have great specs but cant touch the image from a D16, R1MX or what have you. IMO of course. Another image that I think kills the GH4, Sony Ax etc is the 8-Bit 4:2:2 from the XC10. So if the 5Dmkiv has the same codec but on a large sensor... winner. Side Note: Don't you just love how some when asked to show examples of how good a camera is send you a chart or a number instead of an actual image... Got to love the internet.

If true it will rock. Its gonna keep Canon at the top of the sales lists for years.

RT is a Russian propaganda channel. Everyone knows this. They have been without any doubt and 100% waterproof evidence been exposed as lyers and spreaders of false truths on hundreds if not thousands of occasions.

Nothing is wrong with them. But if you read the manual you can see that for +1200grams you are suposed to use a 12v source instead. -
No, I wold be surprised if you had heard of him. Ive never seen him in any international releases But I bet you that all swedes here know exactly who he is and plenty of Norwegians, Danes and Fins to. But behold, I found a Superbowl commercial he is in! He is the voice of the talking stain

My Review of the Zhiyun Crane 3-Axis Gimbal

I wonder how many that tested the Crane with 1200gram cameras used the correct battery (12v) and not just the included one? -
The (in Sweden) very, very famous actor and comedian Johan Rheborg is a true film enthusiast. He even co hosted had a prime time TV show about photography where he used mostly film. He also shoots s8 (Logmar... Im so jealous I could die) and 16mm with a Bolex. He also gave me some advise when I recently started developing s8 and 16mm at home to cut costs. Any who, here is a video from his sumer vacation. And IMO.... wow.

A break from the scandal with a round of "Guess the Camera"?
Mattias Burling replied to Mattias Burling's topic in Cameras
One thing that really speaks for the MFTs in the test is that the a6300 with the 35mm cost more than all the other stuff combined. The others stuff being, The GX80, BMPCC, 20mm f1.7, 17mm f1.8, 14-140mm OIS, Tilta cage with top handle and x3 external batteries with charger. -

Yup, its an easy fix, looks nice But, such a shame it needs to be fixed in the first place. And its not like its the only issue. As always, really want to love a Sony, bit its not worth it. -
NO!!! Digital Bolex has stopped making cameras!

No there are CMOSs with Global Shutter. -
I bought a cheap BMPCC that came with a Tilta cage, 14-140 OIS lens and the SLR Magic 17mm f1.6 cine lens. The SLR has my attention, a really cool lens. Also got a gx85 just because it was 20% off. Figured I could get my money back and still keep the 20mm f1.7 kit lens.

Raw, but it didn't matter since I converted it to BMDfilm prores anyway. Think HQ would've looked the same. -

Almost. A6300, BMPCC, gx80/85. Used a Voigtlander 28mm with IR Cut. Used the same type LUT on all but the correct one for each, meaning for slog2, bmdfilm and a Rec709 generic. After the LUT I set the contrast and lifted the mids. ISO 800 on a6300 and bmpcc, 600 on the gx80. Will do a side by side shootout tomorrow. Trying to decide on which to keep as a small grab n shoot for my camera bag when shooting stills. -

Second one isn't the gx85 and the 5D is not included. Getting old. -

All wrong It might have been just at the edge of focus. I leaned into it but accidentally exported the very first frame. -

I know what you mean, but if I answer I will give it away. "Same grade" means that they should look the same, but one of them isn't reacting to the treatment the same way as the other two -

Speedbooster? -
Ok, if that's true, then a light meter has a setting for film/sensor size. But it doesn't. So no sensor size does not affect lowlight. If true, a printed magazine cover gets darker when you cut it with scissors. Depth of field stays the same. Exposure stays the same. Focal length stays the same. A crop is a crop is a crop is a crop. Take your camera and test/see for yourself. I'm out of the discussion because I know how religious people get over it. Its like talking evolution with the Pope. Science from me and magic from the opponent.

Depth of field doesn't change with sensor size, nor does lowlight. You only recalculate the focal length so the person you talk to will understand the distance he/she needs to fill a frame. A crop is a crop, nothing else. Any who....
