I don't think that the 15 stops ursa mini sensor will be global shutter and they will have a built in monitor, people show it in other picture.

I think the optical evf will be optional, optical evf's are expensive, and since a lot people already have evf's they will make than optional and reduce the price.

$2999,00 for a ursa mini? This price is complete insane! They will really create a tsunami in the market!

I thinking about the pocket 2 rumor and the mini ursa 4,6k sensor. I think that the new pocket will still be a s16 sensor camera and probably use the same sensor of the ursa mini but with half the size (the pocket 2 will record 3.2k in camera). The increase in dynamic range of the ursa mini (13 for the pocket and 15 for the ursa mini) is cause by the increase in size of the sensor. Alexa 65 do same with the regular alexa: the dynamic range increase 1 stop. In the case of the alexa 65 is the same sensor of the regular Alexa, but bigger.

If the pocket 2 rumor are correct, I don't think will be a drop on the pocket 1 ( at least not a 50% discount) since the pocket 2 is listed as $1500,00 camera.

They will use the same sensor, but bigger, for increase in the resolution. They will probably will increase the readout time of the sensor for reducing the rolling shutter effect that a bigger sensor will cause.

I think that will be a new pocket and a new cinema camera (same ursa mini sensor). I think that the production camera will be dead.

Yes, will be the micro cinema camera, same dynamic range of the pocket. Probably the same sensor of the old pocket. I think that the new pocket will be a micro four thirds crop factor (2x).

So, if this is the Mini them they will probably update the Cinema camera too. Maybe the same 4.6k 15 stops of the ursa mini? Are they going kill the production camera line?

One o the most intriguing thing for me is that the ursa mini has a blackmagic evf.

I think this will be a new camera line by Blackmagic. I think that blackmagic will make a new pocket, hopefully with a better screen and LP-6 batteries
