A bar tender and some people crossing camera would probably have sold the scene a little more, but unnecessary in terms of what I wanted to achieve ?

Not sure you were meaning to post this here? ? From a personal stand point, 4.2.2 vs 4.2.0, external recorders etc all really becomes irrelevant if all an individual is doing is posting up videos to platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo. The compression alone makes the differences redundant, IMHO. I feel the same way about individuals shooting at excessive bit rates who are under the impression that their video quality will hold up better once uploaded to said platforms.

I really like the Century Optics. Def prefer it over the SLR Magic for one main reason - It has an organic vibe to the image with focus imperfections I'd probably liken to a 90's movie shot in 2.35:1 anamorphic. The SLR is way too sharp for my own personal taste, too "digital" with blue flares that look like felt pen streaks. I used the Carl Zeiss T2.8 25mm Distagon Prime Lens. ?

DJI Mavic Pro 2 D-LOG Cinematic Color Grade (4K). Grade based on my own LUT with some contrast and highlight mods. Overall, pretty impressed with the image quality. Holds up well to heavy color grading. Kudos to filmmaker @Emmanuel Pampuri for capturing these cinematic shots.

I've thought about it. Even looked around for a bit to see if there were any available (Ha!). The spec on paper is incredible. And once BM release their BRAW codec for the little cam (which they eventually will) it'll be pretty much game over for the rest of the competition. And a no brainer for anyone looking to buy/upgrade. BUT... For me, I'll more than likely pass. I have one issue that I can't seem to get over --> Image Aesthetics. That is to say, image quality. To my eye the P4K has a digital edge I liken to something like a GH5. It doesn't have the organic film look of the original pocket, the texture, the "special sauce" if you will. I put this down to the new sensor. I personally haven't seen anything out there that has made me think otherwise. Though I have seen plenty of comments from users who are absolutely in love with their P4K, even with early production quality faults. Rightly so too -- B

Color Grade based on my own LUT Thoughts: Liking the detail resolve in 4K 25p. Wides look like they hold up just as well as mids/close ups.

Always wanted to try out the slow motion lip sync music video thing. NB: This was purely for testing purposes. Tech: Panasonic G7 1080p @ 50fps (conformed to 25p) 1600 ISO (no noise reduction) Cine D Like Picture Profile Custom LUT Conclusion: Not perfect, but definitely a useful tool to have in the filmmaker bag ?

Thanks, @mercer. I always feel like people are way too concerned with tech/spec and the next "game ganger" camera. So I guess in some way I'm trying to say the older cameras can still produce quality images without the need to constantly upgrade. In my mind, the camera is just a tool. It's more a case of honing ones craft. I'd probably like the E-M5 purely for the IBIS but would never get one. I'm happy with my original pocket camera and gh2. However, the only other camera that would be in my radar if I decided to upgrade further down the line would be the P4K. I believe the externals were recorded in Prores 422 HQ which is overkill for my liking (the file above was around 460mbs). Might as well shoot RAW ? -- B

Don't really know anything about this camera in terms of spec. Stumbled on the ungraded footage on John Brawley's website. Thought I'd give it a whirl to see how it holds up ?
