I only graded HLG once on the GH5 with a rather dedicated approach. Working in ACE made a huge difference. I think I choose generic 2020 as starting profile, then of course 709 as target profile.

You rascalas, don´t underestimate the power of 3ccd raw magic, with stabilized leica lens. Well I allow the universe to accept the HPX250 as almost equal. So I got a Andromeda on the software side, only one missing part is that bit of hardware.:)

One new EOSHD user contacted me with PM, wanting to sell me his camera. I asked him to put it on ebay, for a safe transaction. He did not come around to send me an answer. The Mark III is pretty as the Mark II before. I like the GH5 for its usuability and codec and overall image qualitiy but a EM1 is just so lovely to hold and even moreso to look at. Same with other cameras like the ten year old Lumix GF1, one of the prettiest and most tactile and ergonomic cameras to me. If it had the sensor of the GX1 I would still be using it a whole lot. The GX1 is only slightly modified in its design and for me the charme is gone. Design is a sublte art. Too bad the beauty of the EM1 does not include the pleasure of shooting internal 10bit. Meanwhile I am enjoying my GX85 for pleasure time video and photo, which I had been thinking about selling so many times but it will stay til it falls apart, just like the G6 did. Liked the G6 design as well a nice plastic fantastic cheap looks, simple super usuable design, nice to hold in hand and so obviously not trying to be pretty, sofore quiet charming in its own way.

Too bad the shooting and footage section barely gets attention it should, even though it would be the best place to dicuss, showcase and enjoy the usage of gear. Using gear and showing the results is the best thing one could actually do with gear after all. That would be so good!

HD with 120 fps in 10bit and with 150mbit h265 data rate sounds nice. If you do that, I would love to grade the material you filmed with it! Just bought a S1 with the 24 - 105mm on ebay. Hopefully seller is not a fraud and will ship it to me:) Very curious to see if it lives up to the GH5´s promise. If not it will have to go back on ebay.

BMCC 2.5K and original pockets image quality made my jaw drop. GH2 was the mysterious affordable super cam I never came to own. GF1 for being the most beautiful camera body in poor mans digital leica land. GH5 making awesome image quality a super common thing. And most definately Davinci Resolve. Exuse my diction, it´s late over here and time to go to sleep.

Some AI for enhancing or "common sense" intelligence to lessen our greed and our ignorance towards the well being of our planet. How about some planet saving algorithms to change our consumer and social behaviours. Learning other languages than English would be nice, having time for that since technology is doing all the work for us, now that would be nice. Eating tomatoes and some good bread and cheese in a clean air enviroment and filming all that beauty with a hacked GH3. Vitaly never got around to find that hidden 10bit mode unfortunately.

GX85 with pixel perfect 50p HD in 100mbit, CineD, double battery life and mic in. GH4 would do then I guess. Dreamcam would be a beautifully rigged BMMCC with some C-mount lenses.
