I want A7S III to have at least 10bit, internal raw of some sort would be great(but I guess if their FS7 and FX9 can't do it, this little one for sure cant). +240fps. Downside with the A7S will be the AF (with EF lenses), not a huge deal for me. But that R5 autofocus does look kinda handy.

You know even camera's that cost 10 times as much have the same IR issue(RED)? Its not even an issue, you use a IR filter. I guess most camera's are flawed in your perspective, oh gee I cannot shoot at 1.2 during a sunny afternoon because its all overexposed, yeah guess what "the ND filter was also not included".

I think this overheating is getting over exagerated. I read a guy was shooting all day long didnt get overheated once.

Thats a pretty good deal. Maybe they are releasing a 1.4 set.

Dude once again, that is on you and not the camera. You know you need to shoot with an IR filter on a bm camera.... Offcourse they are still selling them as they are brilliant cameras for an amazing price.

My main worry is the DR and highlight rolloff, but nobody is letting this cat out of the bag right now. All the video's so far have bad looking DR, shirts, faces with blown out parts. Amazed nobody is talking about that, prolly still busy counting all those pixels or running around in the desert trying to overheat the camera...

The price from the R5 makes me consider the F6 again. Which so far seems to have better IQ, downtrade is that its only a video/cinema camera and I cannot use it for photography.

Well I dont think I will ever run into the problem. I dont shoot long clips + where I live the temperature rarely exceeds 23 degrees.

I think i am getting an r6. If IQ is the same. I dont need 8k raw or 120fps 4k. Or am I missing something.

Well thats my problem with it atm, it looks so youtuby. But offcourse thats the style of the shooter, so exited to see some other shooters take on the camera. Especially just some 24p narrative stuff.

yes exactly, dont look any better then 5D III ML RAW. And that camera is 6 years old. (it probably will be a bit better, but at this point I can't see it, more DR and more slowmotion options was all the 5DIII was missing). How is the ISO/noise performance, nobody seemed to review that decently.

Gotta admit that AF looks crazy fast (allthough its not a feature I am really interested in)

wtf the R5 is 4.549€ in europe.............................................. I prolly had too much hopes for the R5 (C500 II, C300 III IQ), but I guess I will also have to wait out on the A7S III announcement as well (when is that announcement date?)

I was hoping the DR would be more then 12 stops, so now lets wait how that highlight rolloff turns out. Waiting on incoming camera comparisons.

I guess it might be a problem for those who shoot events with long speeches/workshops and so on. But I think that very few people need 30min clips. I have never shot a 30min clip in my life (unless maybe an accidental one).

I never returned any product I bought, isnt it a weird way of thinking. Buying something, testing it and if you dont like it return it? What happens to the product, does it get sent back to canon to be inspected and branded refurbished or do they just sent it to somebody new. Strange that this is legal, its like those people buying an expensive dress, go out and return the dress. Sorry for the off topic rant.

Hopefully they will demonstrate side by sides with c300 III and C500 II.
