Looks like the colour science of the komodo and the helium is nothing alike. Its advertised as their small gymbal/glidecam/slider camera, but whats the point if the colour is so different. I could use whatever camera, no need to pay for RED prices in this case. (A blackmagic pocket will do)

I imagine 1/16th not being visible a lot. Even 1/8 isnt that noticeble and subtle (could be what you are after though)

If this happened at the releasedate I would have ordered a F6. But now I am glad I didnt, there is almost no good footage out yet. + the R5 or R6 might be crazy good. (as the 5D III ML RAW, is still one of my fav images, only DR and slowmotion options were limited)

Yeah exactly have tried a bunch of them some years back, some worked way better then others, but I prefer the black pro mist filters.

I guess aputure will cut the prices of the aputure 300d ii soon to compete a bit more. Def interested in this, 300D ii or even better the 600D(depends on the pricepoint, and the money I can still earn this year)

This is actually pretty cool, would love some decent glasses to use as a monitor. Allthough operating the camera is maybe a bit tricky. (and running into stuff)

The laowa 12mm zero distortion is a good fit, as you dont want a lot of distortion on you real estate video's.

Not true, at least in my case. Unless it changed it the last year.

Nothing changes, everything uploaded remains online. I know this because I have done this (also asked their support before stopping to pay).

Youtube compression doesnt like grain(facebook compression is the worst though), so I cant skip vimeo. Too bad the alternatives are so limited.

I guess it could be handy for changing iso or hitting record while the camera is mounted on a carhood or something.

Remains the same, The IR is hitting the sensor so doesnt matter on what device you are monitoring.

Prolly other angle or different time. If they were stacked up it would be the same. Tell me how it is possible that you cannot see the IR pollution on the backscreen but you can on your computer.

Not that good it seems, there is no way it would not show up on the directors monitor or the back of the pocket 6k. They just didnt notice it. Then again shit happens, lessons where learned.

Dude, its the shooters fault. You know you need an IR filter to avoid situations like this. Its like shooting wide open at 1.2 in the sun without an ND filter and then complaining in post see everything is overexposed. Not sure why this comes into play into a color discussion.

Well color can be a subjective matter, if you post your work, people will be able to tell your skill level, if your work is out of this world then people will respect your opinion more, and if they find your work bad then they will render your opinion meaningless. So def matters a lot.
