Really interested in seeing how they look. Not sure why they made theses lenses slower at T2.5 though, maybe because they want to deliver a certain standard at 1.4 that without their coating they are unable to deliver. I wish these were 1.4, but if they look amazing, I still might be interested though.

Well Im hoping on a new sigma line, a true ART line. Not sure why sigma called it the ART line in the first place, you get almost the opposite of ART images out of them. I wish they will bring out a new line, also sharp wide open maybe less sharp then the sigma ART line now, with the same achromatic abboration, which is pretty good on the ART, the coating of the lens Is also great, but with more interesting bokeh. The current ART line is great for corporate, event stuff and all but I feel the current image is quite bland for narrative stuff.

Well with an ipad, I dont think its easy to control the speed of the focus pull, sometimes you want it very slow, sometimes very fast. Sometimes you want to do a ramp, from slow to fast, or from fast to slow, or stop before anything really is in focus(no focus mark) I think you can only do these kind of things with an actual manual controller.

Focus pullers should not be worried. I mean there are tons of creative decisions that you can do with a focus puller, that you couldnt do with DPAF. Allthough If you are doing a following shot or something DPAF seems to work better and a lot cheaper and faster too. So it depends on the situation, or what you are trying to achieve.

Well you loose around 30% of performance with a egpu vs an internal gpu. So I def would use a desktop instead of a laptop.

Zeiss milvus looks better then the batis, no? At least you get a manual aperture ring with the milvus lenses.

Yes on the 5D III. Liked it a lot, only downside was the low DR as it is quite a dated camera vs the options we have now DR wise.

DR and detail/sharpness mostly as resolution should be the same.

From what I have seen online so far, there seems to be a huge difference.

That commercial was shot on alexa, the zcams were the moving close up shots.

Im not sure there is an audience for these ML updates on the beginner dslr's. Where is ML for the 5D IV. At this point im not sure if it ever will come. Maybe we will even see a new 5D that does internal RAW faster ;(

Well they have no higher up camera's to protect, so if they are smart and want to sell a shit ton of camera's and want to fuck canon, sony and panasonic they should. We have been asking for RAW since the release of the 5D II over 10 years ago, not much has changed over the course over the years (mostly more slowmotion options, AF and IBIS).

ok thats a letdown. Zcam F6 is it again. Hope they can finetune the camera soon and show us some decent footage, as all footage as of yet looks quite terrible(weird noise, moire, shaky,...). I would love to see a side by side with a bunch of camera's. Zcam better give the camera to some decent camera guys and let them showcase the camera footage.

Well with the zcam you would need to use an external monitor. So thats the same(maybe a little more weight)

So the nikon z6 is now around 12 stops. but with the raw update beeing raw and all, and photo's are 14 stops of DR. We will get 14 stops of DR out of the nikon Z6 right? Which would make this a 2,5K $ FF raw camera(with the atamos recorder included). Which is even only half the price of the zcam F6. This could be the next best thing and blows everything in the near range out of the water, or am I missing something here. What are the downsides of the Z6, as I never used it or saw it really? (I have a shitton EF glass, are there decent adapters out there?) I went on to check some quick footage online. If its looks this good crippled, I can only imagine how good the RAW will look like.
