Yeah crazy how good the ursa mini pro holds up next to a F65 or a Alexa mini, especially as they are dirt cheap in comparison.

I don't think they are getting made anymore now that there is TERRA 6K, 5K and now even 4K. Which also makes a lot more sense. Only problem is that they are a Chinese company with crappy communication and support.

Yeah probably something that you can switch fast in heights and lock down really fast. As boy, one can sure loose a lot of times on a day changing tripod heights. (clicking open the locks of each leg X3 X3)

yeah 650 for 4 days of work including gear. That is a steal. They will not find a cheaper professional. (I have my share of cheap video's in the past, like 5 recording sessions for a band in the studio, which I had to sync each instrument to the video which turned out in a real nightmare so that was a fasttrack to quiting doing video fast ) But I have a fulltime job which pays my bills, and I am doing only interesting video projects on the side. So I rather turn down 10 crappy video's and do 1 decent instead, even if I would make 2X that much.

yeah the latest beta 8 is really shining for me. It outperforms Premiere for editing, coloring and rendering. In the past I used to edit still some projects in Premiere, out of ease and speed. But now Im hooked on resolve. (Still need to test the stabilizer though, probably still isn't as good as warp stabilizer). Are there any good stabilizer plugins for resolve that work great? I want to give reelsteady a try, but it is only for AE.

Im mainly a hobbyist and I am running around with a ursa mini pro . The price of a ursa mini pro is still cheap, for the image that you are getting. And yeah nofilmschool was great for beginner filmmakers, but it seems it has not evolved in years, it just sticks with beginner filmmaking tutorials and articles. So advanced users do no bother with the site anymore.

Maybe it has something to do with red hydrogen. Maybe its an exchange for prores licenses. Or maybe apple engineers are working on the OS for hydrogen. Or compatible ios apps for red hydrogen. As the main issue with hydrogen is that is has its own OS. And no apps will be available for it.

THANKS, So you would recommend me to buy the arriscope instead of an iscorama then. A 50mm arriscope at 5000€ would that be a good deal? (Its just so hard to find any reviews/pricings on those lenses). And before dropping that amount of cash, it would be good to know if it is worth it, and I can still resell it in some years without losing too much money on them.

Hello, Has anybody here used a arriscope anamorphic lens? Do you think they are better then a iscorama imagewise? I am having problems finding any usefull information on them. Not sure what a good price would be for a single arriscope anamorphic lens. But if a iscorama beats it, I might hunt for a iscorama instead. Thanks

This wont happen, the camera's have been discontinued. Why on earth would they make a update for it. They said they were focusing all updates on the ursa line. Which I feel personally is a great move. Too many camera models slows the update process down. (You might want to save up for a UMP or ursa mini 4.6k.)

Well the A7S II is not the best camera for anamorphic shooting it has no 4:3 mode. I would opt a ursa mini 4.6k/pro or even a GH5. Single focus anamorphics lenses are not cheap though. You got the slr magic anamorphics, Around 2600€ per lens. But I don't like their look.I would go for some vintage lomo's. But they are also a lot more expensive. If you want to work with adapters. Get the Rectilux hardcore DNA and see video below for some cheap anamorphic adapters.
