Yeah I would love a side by side of the ML 4K vs the ML1080p. To see if it holds sharpness/detail better. (as I already sold my 5D III, so cannot test it for myself). This is great news! Only wish this was happening on the 5D IV(so we also get more DR, detail and better low light performance).

I dont think this will be happening, as even the c100 or the c300 dont have RAW. It will surely affect their higher up camera sales, as I know I would be buying a 5d iv instead of the c300 ii.(for my needs)

Not against the 5d series. ML on 5d iv might be my ideal camera, but does not seem to be happening anytime soon.

Heck they can double the price if they add these RAW specs to such a small body for all I care(do need a DR upgrade though).

read my sentence again Ah I get the mix up, my sentence order is maybe not the best. I mean iso 1600 clean is good enough for me. I just want more DR and RAW.

Hopefully the GH6 (or whatever new name they release in the future) has RAW(maybe writing to dual SD) and more DR. clean 1600 like the GH5 is enough for me. Which is the only thing lacking from the camera's for my needs.

Really cool idea, I think they just came a bit late to the show. Hope it gets swappable sensors as well. But I will probably stick with a ursa mini pro.

I think the GH5 will sell a massive amount of camera's! Panasonic will surely profit from this camera, I dont think the GH line is going anywhere in the next couple of years. If they need to scrap some camera's, they can scrap the dvx line for example.

If you happen to run into new anamorphic lenses, I would sure like to know about them Camerawise I think I am set with the ursa mini pro. But would love an anamorphic lens that is not an adapter.

Hopefully they will enable 4k full frame 10bit HDMI out(internal is too much too ask I think) with clog which would mean around 13.5 stops of DR? That would bring canon back to its former glory.

Yeah the only problem I have with the ursa mini pro is the size/weight. But I think I will buy one anyway as it blows everything in the pricerange away. So I do not have hopes for anything similar in a smaller package from blackmagic(or any other brand) this year.

I think the ursa mini pro is a better option right now (unless you need low light). More DR, build in raw recorder, prores.

Thats not the point here is it. For sure the c100 is a workhouse and if you shoot weddings or events or do that kind of work the c100 is the way to go. But the question here was what has the best IQ. And in every situation I compared the 2 images, the 5d comes out head first. (Low light situations)

And dont forget the 5D III RAW is 14bit, as I like to shoot in some crazy lighting scenarios. I get banding with every other camera I ever owned other then a 5DIII. The colors are just great, bright red key light, no problem. (I shot something similar with the A7S II, and the colors were so ugly that I had to use a "black and white" grade. )

Dont get me wrong, I am not complaining about the image, the c100 is a good image. I just prefer the 5D III RAW image over the C100 (could be just a personal thing, but that is just how I feel about it). It could be the full frame look, It could be the lack of pro lighting. But I ofter find myself just shooting run and gun at night. And though the iso on the Cx00 can be cranked higher, I feel like the 5D III RAW has some secret sauce on it and works just better for my taste as its softer then the sharp Cx00 series.

Yeah no IR pollution and build in ND's are a great upgrade. Too expensive for my budget right now, but I will probably pick one up in the future.

Well I am not joking, this topic is for best image. (I owned these 3 camera's, and that is what I personally feel).

The c100 is a handy camera, but the image is nowhere near 5D III RAW, I even prefer the c300 I image to c100 II.

Well I am moving away from Premiere, as resolve gets better with every release. And when I am working with RAW files, Resolve outperforms Premiere. + the rendering is much faster then Premiere. I do miss warp stabilizer as the stabilizer in Resolve is not that good yet. And perhaps adjustment layers, those were fun too. So at NAB they will probably announce resolve 13, and I am sure it will have some amazing ugrades or features.

BDM4350 yeah it has PIP. But I can only choose 3 formats. And none of them are good.
