true, kye. but also i was talking to a guy whos doing a short in premiere right now, and he has no idea what resolve is FOR in the first place — grading, power windows, etc. l mean he knows in the abstract, but not really lol

this is a killer feature and its only gonna get better, i was gonna start a thread. if you use it the right way in photoshop its unbelievebly effective and easy, so im really stoked to see where this goes i love the boom removal usage that @IronFilm mentioned; stuff like that can be HUGE for an indy shoot too...! the future of vfx is so bright its ridiculous lol. kids in the future will never kno the agony of the stuff we’ve had to learn ?

great, i shot my first short with natural light on my 5d3 with ml, there you go. costs 30x less than a c700 too

zach, could you post some of these low light shots that youd like to emulate? heres an idea... look at your favorite cinematography of dark scenes: its probably not as dark as you think, since these low light cameras didnt even exist when it was shot — its a key and no fill. *backlighting* is a powerful agent as well. look again at those scenes what are you shooting, a doc in a cave?

thank you everyone!! that was kinda what i thought lol. ill letcha kno how it goes ??? tru tru, but this was a scam lol its great for video, but i dont love it for stills at f/4. good lens, glad ive had it, was perfect for my short, but im not in love with it. ive come to accept that i just want faster lenses, im sure the sigma is killer tho no way!!! ? its too useful to have... i mean hopefully im not ever gonna sell that camera! ?? its already become too sentimental to me... ? i could never do it! if im ever that desperate for $1k ill just sell some blood or something

heyyy guize ? so, i live on a mountain now, and my usual method of using craigslist and meeting someone in person to sell camera gear is not an option unless i wanna drive a loooong way i threw my perfect used condition 24-105 up on ebay for $480, thinking that was a no brainer, and there were no bids! then i put it up again, and at the last minute someone bid on it and won. he contacted me and was like YOU MUST GET TO A UPS STORE TONIGHT. MY WIFE NEEDS THE LENS IN TEXAS TOMORROW and i was like holy s is this ebrahim??? so that was a scam lol

im totally with you. id like a raw option but its whatever. and im willing to pony up $4k for it too~! and get into the R system. but thats what its gonna take im shooting my next thing with a gh4 and maybe some 5d3 raw shots for dof. its gonna look great. literally nobody cares about the difference in stuff like this except for ppl like us anyway ? so canon has to actually make a camera that makes me happy for me to seriously ~look~ at the r lenses... im sure theyre great but theyre absurdly expensive, and all this adds up to quite an investment oh, one more thing, - FLIPPY SCREEN ✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️

tbh my only experience with stock footage is looking long and hard for very specific things — where I look at hundreds of clips on all different sites til I’m going nuts ? im sure some folks here buy footage on the regular tho, how bout it guys? whats tha spot?
