  1. im just saying if im a client id like to be buying something good for $100k... that clip is super generic. whats different about it, that youve never seen before? kno what i mean
  2. hmmm...! i think my reaction, when watching the three videos ascending in budget, was that theyre the same~! call me a tough critic! THIS cost $100k?? in DOLLARS?!?? what ?
  3. uh... wow im seldom at a loss for words is this a joke? i dont think it is ?
  4. i like it! id call it intriguing, for sure! good trailer for a doc. makes me want to see more, which is amazing id move the sound of the car engine starting, feels a lil weird where its at, and bury the plane engine starting sound a bit more in the mix nice work!!
  5. lookit my new video guys!!! it has 70 million+ views!!! DON'T WORRY, i wrote "All Owners Credited" in the description!! "ALL OWNERS CREDITED"!!!!!
  6. A-HA!!! i knew it!!! see youve got a keyboard, just listen to Kid A and then record some stuff
  7. i "stole" so many shots for my short i just made. the bus, a train, a public parking garage. if anyone has a problem with that... well...
  8. the thing is: if these companies, youtube for example, applied these rules to EVERYONE, fairly, the same way, at least i could say, "Well thats just how they are" but thats not the case at all!!! if i upload a video – im making one right now – with a copyrighted song that i fairly have no right to upload, it *might* be chosen for monetization by the record label, it *might* be just barred from being uploaded, deleted, who knows? this is all fun and games until they delete your ENTIRE ACCOUNT. i feel SO bad for people who have wrongly had their channels removed... all that work, all that THEY DID FOR YOUTUBE, all the views, comments, the community interaction, all that shit youtube loves – all gone. no appeal, no process to do anything. its just gone i recently went through a dmca takedown request due to an a-hole i know who stole my video, and from what ive gathered, if you have a corporate email address (yes) they take you way more seriously, if you "represent a business" they take you way more seriously, and as a lone creator, they dont give a single fuck about you (shocking) i got what i wanted because i pursued the issue, but thats emailing a robot amazingly, you get virtually the same "customer service" from vimeo, despite the fact that you have to PAY them for your account~! AMAZIN!!!!
  9. YOU GUYS i swear i just texted that to my friend
  10. after your last write up i legit read that as a dirty word ?
  11. i have a personal question to add to this, same issue: if i upload a video to youtube with a famous song, will it *automatically* be found and flagged? by "the algorithm"? what if its listed as private? what if its in a film with a bunch of foley/other sound? i would imagine that screws up the autofind dmca bot anybody have any experience with this? this is why im like, screw this, ill host it on my own site. its for a few important people to see at the moment – i dont need any bandwidth~! lol
  12. damn... interesting and you pay, how much a month for this treatment? like $30-$50? for me to upload one single 4 min video id be in the $50 a month tier ive been so frustrated by youtubes lack of communication, im about to just upload to my own website fuck all this! memes must be stopped!! theyre too powerful!
  13. Ebrahim sent me the new ML firmware for EOS-R. It shoots 4k RAW with NO rolling shutter due to new programming!! PLease PM me to send western union as payment, I will then send files Hakuna Matata
  14. thanks but ITS NOT A TRAILER ITS A SHORT FILM!!!! SEE WHATS HAPPENNING?!?!?! ?
  15. update: you can only complain about a copyright as the copyright owner, from that account. so flagging from other people has to be on a different topic, i guess this is amazingly lame
  16. Okay. *deep breath* So: this guy who is an actor in my short film essentially stole the file i uploaded to youtube, changed the title frame, cropped off the letterbox, and reloaded it as HIS OWN PERSONAL FEATURE MOVIE TRAILER. Not my short film, a MOVIE TRAILER FOR HIM: THE MOVIE™™ Of course I never gave him permission to do any of this. He has an imaginary "branding" business that he thinks hes promoting. Its amazing. I'm honestly a little blindsided by this and a little disappointed in him personally – he knows exactly what hes doing, and refuses to take it down. Long story short, I filed a youtube DMCA copyright takedown request. The video he uploaded is exactly the same as mine, besides the title frame and he cut off the letterboxing. its the exact same length – same video. ...But somehow, i got a response from youtube saying that they need more information, like timestamps... okaaay. no problem. BUT, i kid you not, there is no link in that email to follow up on this. so i go into my youtube account, thinking theres an alert or something i can click on... and theres nothing. and now i legit dont know what to do!!! ? i tried to file the dmca all over again, but it says invalid url on the offending video because ive used it before – Check your correspondence, it says. I DID?!?! theres no place on the dmca from to fill out further info – to type stuff. its not there in the first place. and GOD KNOWS I CANT JUST CALL A HUMAN BEING TO ASK A QUESTION Anybody else been through this? this process? youtube wrote: i already provided that stuff. the timestamps are the entire video. brb kms
