Honored Nikkor, you are in luck. I have created a LUT to use on all cameras footages that will result in excellent quality in class of Arri Alexa. Unfortunately my Paypal is not available due to the government of my country, but I will email the LUT to you personally. Price is normally one hundred US dollar, but for you honored member I give 50% discount so price is only $40!! Pleaae do not hesitate to PM me for my home address here in Cairo to send monies. Very best filmmaker wishes, Hakuna matata

kaylee replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
hey andrew, i like the refresh~! if youre taking suggestions, my only thought is that there are a lot of fonts on the home page, i would reduce the number and go back to all sans serif, or, add more seriffed fonts if thats what youre feelin rn ? -
thats how i use the term in practice, to differentiate from ENG – but ironically i only need to do that for ppl who dont even know what ENG stands for lol ??????

Time to dump Adobe. First impressions of Resolve 14 and EditReady 2.0
kaylee replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
its too funny that resolve is the same price as fcp. bm is goin for blood i like it im definitely gonna use resolve for my next project to see how it goes! i mean i like the program a lot, havent rlly used it as an editor yet tho unquestionably bm is doing something great here – the whole IDEA of resolve as an editor is sicc as heck, and its really come along quite quickly adobe needs to realize that charging $50 a month forever for BUGGY SOFTWARE PISSES PEOPLE OFF. its not even about the money, its about growing to *resent* that reoccurring charge – that is the shit that makes people investigate other platforms -
YEEEEEEAAAAAAH BOOOOOYYYYYY omg i cant wait to see what you do with it zak!!!!! ?
-
omg so with the battery grip and tax this thing is well over $5k without lenses or anything else? i dont think still photographers are going to go for this lol
-
i need to replace illustrator too!! let me kno if u find anything good ? im so used to photoshop ill always use that but id be cool with paying adobe less money every month ?
-
omg! sounds like an awesome plan Zak ?? my NAB wish is for a KILLER BMPCC~! not expecting that to happen, hence the word wish lol

lol same i swear if you start doing ml all that forum stuff will make waaay more sense i havent gotten into the higher res modes yet but once they get live view worked out i bet itll be easy the only problem with ml raw video is that the image is so satisfying it immediately leads to the real question: What am I going to SHOOT? ?

dude sweet~!!! i cant wait to see it!!! bottom line is: its as good as you make it. you could make a webcomic that BLOWS PEOPLE THE F AWAY. and at the end of the day, no one really cares what your content is, its about ideas that being said ive spent a lot of time learning about filmmaking because i determined (after doing damn near everything else in the arts) that it is the ultimate art form – one that combines all others: and more importantly there is no better delivery method for your ideas, no more resonant, moving form of impregnation to the human mind ppl love comics dude. do it up. and dont feel like youre "not" filmmaking. all the shit ive ever done in my life has gotten me to where i am now. every part of your art practice informs every other part of it – much like life itself ----- /ykno i just reread that post and i was so tempted to add a bunch of random spacing to make it like one of ed's 'poetry' posts but then i was like Nah these guys put up with enough already

that being said every time i post something non sequitur, retarded, or seemingly emotionally disturbed its a living tribute to zach

Magic Lantern progress continues as 14bit 60FPS resolution increases
kaylee replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
could someone please ~❤️~ explain to me how this 8/10/12-bit lossless works?? all i really understand about magic lantern is bypassing the in-camera compression and sending the 14 bit raw liveview feed straight to the card... so how is it possible to have all of these options? i mean i realize theres some brilliant developers at work here~! i was just curious if anyone knows how this is happening? or maybe im just overcomplicating whats going on lol idk -
i never bought zachs gimmick 100%... like the egyptian dude(s), i was aways a little suspicious...
